Here's a motivational piece I drew yesterday. It’s based on a doodle I’ve had taped to my drawing desk for years for when I’m feeling down or simply unfocused. #motivation #drawing #motivationalquotes #mentalhealth #artist

Cartoon illustration of a turtle hiding in its shell and drawing. The surrounding text reads “Drawing will make you feel better!”

Here’s a little painting I did last year I never shared. I don’t even remember what I titled it, it’s sitting in an inconvenient box five feet behind me somewhere as I write this. #art #painting #weird #comics #illustration

Surreal painting of an abstract figure on a bizarre plant. The figure is yellow with only a singular eye and has a large hole in its chest, with its arm passing through the hole.

Inktober Day 31: “Award.” And with this groan-worthy cartoon, Inktober 2025 comes to an end! Congrats to all of my fellow artists that made it through the month! I’ve enjoyed the camaraderie and seeing new art and discovering new artists.

Cartoon illustration of a roach in an apocalyptic landscape. The roach is giving itself an award that reads “Last Living Thing.”

Inktober Day 24: “Rowdy.” When I saw what today’s prompt was, this is what popped into my head and wouldn’t leave. Possibly because I’m crunched for time — I drew this very quickly, and the ink wasn’t even dry when I took this photo.

Cartoon illustration of a cactus riding a skateboard while smoking a cigarette and holding a bottle of beer.

Inktober Day 19: “Arctic.” This idea came to me when I was doodling, and it was so stupid that I had to draw it. #inktober #inktober2025 #inktoverarctic #arctic #inktober2025arctic #art #comics

Surreal cartoon illustration of two narwhals with their heads out of the water. One has apparently sneezed and to its surprise, an umbrella has opened up as part of its tusk. The other narwhal is saying “gesundheit.”

Cartoon of aliens attempting to abduct a farmer from their UFO, but apparently vaporizing him instead, leaving only his boots. One of the aliens is saying “Hmm, I guess it was the other

Inktober Day 11: “Sting.” I posted another version of this earlier, but I wasn’t really happy with it, so I quickly redrew it this morning. #inktober2025 #inktober #art #comics #artist

Cartoon illustration of a snail holding a match, about to light the wick of a classic cartoon bomb.

Inktober Day 7: “Starfish.” Just to show how long these Inktobers take, this seemingly-simple drawing took me over 2 hours, not including the time spent conceiving the idea, photographing and editing, and writing this post.

Sepia-toned illustration of a silhouette of a person in a boat fishing with a star as bait. A crescent moon is about to take the bait.

Illustration of a punk rabbit, with pierced ears and nose, as the singer of a hardcore punk band. Based on an illustration by Beatrix Potter.

AI art sucks, so here’s something new by me I drew out of annoyance! As we all know (or should by now), AI art creates a massive amount of pollution and is nothing but theft built on the work of real artists. #noai #noaiart #drawing #art #artist

Vinyl sticker of a robot trash can that resembles a classic striped burglar and is carrying a flashlight. It’s carrying a trash bag of art supplies, and the words “A.I. ART IS TRASH” are written to the right of the robot.

Here’s my recent 11 x 14” poster design inspired by my surroundings. I live near Center Hill Lake, a popular tourist destination in Tennessee and have spent countless days on the lake and hiking around it. (All of the cryptids here are my own creation.) #cryptids #comics #design #art #tennessee

This is a 16 x 20” oil pastel drawing/painting. I like to have some large colorful, weird, and readable pieces to draw people into my booth at fairs. The second image is the original sketch for this, and the third shows the piece in its early stages. #art #comics #painting #aliens #cartoon

I’ve being screen printing again a little here and there for the last few weeks and made a small run of this 2-color comic. #comics #comicart #screenprint #artist #illustrator

Screen printed comic of a poem titled “Three Blind Snails.” It featured three snails and reads: “Three blind snails? / Three blind snails! / See how they crawl? See how they crawl! / They all crawled over the farmer’s wife… / So she fed their shells to some garden mice!! / Did you ever see such a sight in your life as… THREE BLIND SLUGS?” The final panel shows three slugs with scars on their back.

It’s been a while, and I need to be more active on sharing art. Here’s something I finished tonight! #illustration #cats #weird #childrensbookillustration #comics

Digital illustration in a soft colored pencil style of a blue cartoon cat in a ridiculous outfit, including a birthday hat on its head, muddy boot on its right foot, a wet green flipper on its left foot, a rubber inner tube around its waist, a fuzzy striped orange scarf around its neck, a boxing glove on its right paw, and a sock puppet on its left paw. The sock puppet is saying “Do Whatever Your Weirdness Requires!”
