Fished up this old wip yesterday. There was just the quilting and binding left so I'm making a good bit of progress on finishing it up.

Started last night and finished this afternoon. This one was way easier than the ghost Pokemon one lol. Very satisfying though.

A puzzle featuring the Eveelutions from Pokomon. Evee in the center with the others in a color wheel around it, and then a layer of triangular pieces with slightly smaller images of the Eveelutions. Then further smaller triangles featuering small grouo images off all the Evee and Pikachu with them.

They're too cool to say "fake fan" or "poser" I guess. But of all the things you could come up with? Live action implies face to face interaction- which the comments on Instagram are not. And I am being the exact amount of unhinged as the accounts I've seen use this term this way.

Duncan Shiek passing is throwing me. This year is just wringing me out. I actually got to meet Duncan back in college when he was working on American Pyscho and he previewed the song This Is Not an Exit for us. It sank in to my bones and I had to wait years to hear it again.

The big finale for that show was a fashion show of various collector Barbie looks. I think all or most of them were Bob Mackie dolls. The crowning jewel being Barbie in a huge white gown I now know is Mackie's Empress Bride design.

I mean. I think it's not unlike modern as seen on tv where someone behaves absurdly incompetently. Who benefits most from instant coffee? Folks who can't use other methods of brewing. But it has to market to everyone to make money, so you find an angle.
