I just can't stop watching Senator Eric Schmitt making himself the biggest fool of the year (of the century?) flagging Jack Smith as "dirtbag". Oh boy, it's true that trumpism gave us a new level of global tragicomedy but this is reality beating fiction on comedy too 🥰 youtu.be/Rb0KxHkguOo?...

I bet most of the customers are happy and you just have to deal with the noisy ones. I'm not (yet) an OpenCode Go user myself, I use Pi as main agent and usually hear other Pi users prise OC Go as a very good low cost option.

It should really be the default for every sane human being but apparently it isn't so I gotta say it: Zionism is the worst cancer on the planet (with trumpism/MAGA coming close second, I guess?). I stand with Palestine as there's no other option, really 🇵🇸👊 #freepalestine

Yes, looks very cool and ambitious but somehow out of scope, e.g. I find the focus on the privacy bit somehow overkill, at least for our use cases.

Alexander Fortin @l3x.in · 11/09/2026
For example I use my PDS as source for the microblogging I have on my personal website (link in my bio), and I publish blog posts as standard.site.document entries. I'm also working on a new project based on IRC protocol, users login is going to be via ATproto (work in progress)

Alexander Fortin @l3x.in · 11/09/2026
Absolutely, e.g. I'm trying to convince my contacts to drop Whatsapp in favour of Signal and it's tough... but worth fighting for! My point though is that you can enjoy ATproto benefits even without using Bsky.app at all, imo it's something more transformative than "just another social network"

I don't know if it helps the discussion, I'm almost always frustrated when I see threads about some new cool feature in AT proto on, say, HN, and the discussion to soon gravitate towards Bluesky and its perceived shortcomings. AT is so much more than Bsky.app but somehow I seldom see that emerging.

Alexander Fortin @l3x.in · 11/09/2026
Personally the least interesting bit since I got into ATproto is Bluesky. I mean, I like it and I use it, but the key features for me are 1) data ownership and 2) portable identity (login).

I did some research on the current state of OSS harness friendly subscriptions so you don't have to: - opencode.ai/go - 10$/month - hyper.charm.land - free monthly credits, next up is 20$/month - commandcode.ai - min 1$/month plan, next up 10$/month - openrouter.ai - no subs, good value though
