bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 04/10/2026also yeah. a LOST rewatch is definitely in the cards after this LMAO 011
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 04/10/2026expect to be kicking around in my brain for weeks after I'm done with it. my feelings towards it at this point aren't as strong as my overall experience with SH2R or my first SHf playthrough, but a great game that's worth the time imo! 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 04/10/2026and this is coming from someone thoroughly desensitized to most horror. great gameplay-theme cohesion too, which is sorely missing from a lot of games! I can understand people's complaints with it, especially That One Section, but overall this is a game that I - 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 04/10/2026anyways opinions after a first playthrough: I'm actually pleasantly surprised! this is easily the most scared a game has ever made me, and the atmosphere and the way the game exhibits its thematic elements is very effective and unsettling, 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 04/10/2026finished my first playthrough and got the ending that is apparently the most difficult to get on complete accident. I guess I'm just built different 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 03/10/2026unfortunately I think I'm gonna have to give in to the Fortune's Weave FOMO sooner rather than later cuz I'm obsessed with whatever the fuck kind of yaoi Dietrich and Fabio have going on 020

bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I s2g my hair is sentient because every time I start seriously thinking about buzzing it off again I have an extremely good hair day. like alright you get to live for a few more days I suppose 110

bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I really hope this one doesn't pull an SHf and get less cohesive with each playthrough. I haven't even finished my first playthrough of Townfall and I really only have time to play it in bite-sized chunks (never be employed!) but it's made SUCH an impression. 000
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026and the way that it feels so much more intimate/personal due to the first-person perspective and putting way more of an emphasis on stealth over engagement. AGH. there are so many tasty theme-gameplay/mechanics marriages going on here! I live for this shit 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026like. not to get too spoilery but the game literally VERBALLY and mechanically punishing you for making mistakes in a high stress, high stakes environment... dear fucking god it harnesses and produces that feeling so effectively. I want to eat this game I have so many Thoughts. 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026also this game is genuinely so evil if you're someone with impostor syndrome and always operating under the assumption that you're going to get in trouble (as a whole ass adult!) and/or cause a catastrophe if you make a mistake. jesus fucking christ /pos 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026it literally takes so fucking much to scare/unsettle me these days but. SH: Townfall Chapter 8. Jesus fucking christ I am not looking forward to having to replay that 😭 /pos 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I read less books than usual for me and this will probably continue until January; mostly due to having to work 6 days/week but also because all the games I'm interested in playing come out in the fall 000
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I finished my Booker longlist reading challenge in September and I had an absolute blast doing it. I think I might pivot to just doing the shortlist in subsequent years, but I think I'll make the Int'l longlist a yearly thing! 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 01/10/2026September reading wrap-up! Multiple ratings of 4 and above? An average rating over 3 stars? Only one DNF (and it was only an ARC)? We are so back 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 30/09/2026sighs my beloved emotionally constipated dan Glokta family that will absolutely never under any circumstances EVER utter any verbal or physical expression of love and care but will always bend over backwards with the acts of service. all three of them make me ill. 100
bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 30/09/2026still thinking about how Savine literally commissioned THE INVENTION OF THE WHEELCHAIR for her dad. whatever. whatthefuckever. 100

bee @l0vedeterrence.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Like truly the only decent comparisons are ASoIaF and RotE. You're just not gonna get characters with a similar type of depth unless you look for it outside of fantasy 😭 000
