It is absolutely ridiculous how much time (and therefore money) the NHS and govt are spending on clamping down on trans people’s rights, instead of providing healthcare. If a man wants to assault someone he does not need to pretend to be a trans woman. He’ll just ignore the fucking sign & walk in.

There aren't that many decently accessible sports that actually interest me. My number one sport is F1 but that extremely hypothetical ship has sailed decades ago^^ I played football (the soccer kind) as a kid, grew up to hate it. It's only recently that I warmed up to it again and I can watch it.

I was bullied as a child and developed severe social anxiety as a result, and the only advice I ever heard from anyone turned out to be eventually correct. But it was harmful at the time because it "solved" a complex issue with few words. It made me feel like a failure for being unable to follow it.

I'd like to introduce you to an idea I just had. The concept of "eventually correct advice". It's any piece of advice that rings true in hindsight, but is actively detrimental to hear when advice is needed the most. Once you're aware of this I promise you start seeing it literally everywhere.
