You can study theology from a non-religious perspective. A theology degree basically means you understand the history and workings of religion in general. It's taught at non-religious institutions and often taken up as complimentary to a history degree.

So much of the US' entire ability to project power takes place IN Europe or relies ON Europe, they'd be sitting ducks attacking Europe. The EU can, if they so wish, cripple the US economy and military with nothing but some internal policy.

We don't have a president, but in a functional democracy an elected official who does even a fraction of what Trump does would, basically, be told; go ask the voters again if this is ok with them.

Balkenende I (2002) for example; several cabinet ministers were reprimanded over unlawful/unconstitutional conduct, one of the coalition parties was mired in internal conflict, the formed government was no longer representing the voter faithfully, so new elections were called.

Or, less drastically, for voters to get to vote again when the formed government can't fulfill its stated goals, like when Wilders blew up the coalition because he didn't get unconstitutional demands. The alternative would be governing without the voter's consent.

It is extremely rare, last time was in 1939. But the option exists, and should exist, for a majority of representatives to say "This cabinet is not doing what the voters voted for, voters should get a chance to vote again."

Free and fair elections are accessible to all without stuff like gerrymandering or having to jump through hoops to vote. When a majority of representatives vote yes on a Motion of no confidence, the minister or even entire cabinet voted on relinquishes their role and usually new elections are held.
