Moral Monday will continue today at the NC General Assembly as we gather to witness the final veto vote on NC SB 382, which destroys our election system & removes from power the people just elected. The "hurricane relief" title is a trojan horse it fails to provide any. The vote maybe at noon.

Come to the NC General Assembly tomorrow for the Senate vote to override the Governor's veto of this bill which restructures state government to remove the power of Democrats who were just elected by the people and suppresses our votes. Only 12 of the 131 pages are about disaster relief.

NC HB 382 is a shameless power grab by the Republicans in the NCGA. It does not deliver relief to Western NC and removes power from the people they just elected. The Governor has vetoed it and the veto override vote will likely begin this Monday November 2. Please contact your elected official.

NC SB 382 was passed by the NCGA and vetoed by the Governor. The veto override vote will be likely on Monday Dec 2. This bill strips the statewide Democrats who were just elected by the people of NC of their power. And fails to provide hurricane relief for devastated Western NC.
