Most nights, I really have to try to get to sleep. My brain has such a hard time turning off for rest. It’s almost 12:30 and I feel like I could get up and write or play guitar for hours. I also have a strict no caffeine after 2pm rule. Is this a common thing for people on the spectrum?

I could’ve streamed my two hour ambient jam tonight. I could’ve but I didn’t. Instead, I just put on my headphones, stacked a bunch of reverb and delays and laid on my bed only illuminated by the twinkle string lights. Much better than trying to keep up with a chat and fiddle with AV settings.

I was pretty much in therapy since I was 5 til about 3-4 years ago. Partly to deal with trauma, partly because as a kid my parents needed to figure out what was “wrong” with me. Over that time I had 6 different therapists. Mostly trying to find the right one. I had two for most of it though.
