I might be excited for this if it's similar to the Patapon and Everybody's Golf revivals where they get multiplat releases. No amount of Playstation exclusivity is gonna pull me back in to their consoles, so that's kinda the only way I'd pick it up.

I don't think anyone wants it to be "one of the darkest movies" anyway, the only people this is directed towards are casuals that only watch mainstream comic book movies. I do want it to have a more serious tone and if they're commiting to a handful of major deaths, that's good enough for me.

I think I'm fine with it generally considering Tifa and Aerith actually talk with one another and have a friendship as opposed to 98% of other love triangles where it's shown as catty and toxic. As a genre tho, love triangles are just genuinely annoying to see, especially as I get older.

Kojima is just trying to get funding for his (most likely overbudget) games but has to deal with the most incompetent industry that is eating itself alive. Can't wait for Physint to release in 2030 as a Switch 2 exclusive after Microsoft decides the profits for the game aren't immediate enough.

Even if they don't do the exact same thing as the Mii Maker update, I think doing something like making the BGM a track from whatever the new Nintendo release is would go a long way. Really, I just like when the shop is themed, like when they made it Mario themed.

SNES will probably get an update around November, Nintendo did a similar thing with the NES app last year. Genesis is a bit strange, I put most of the responsibility for the app on Sega, they gotta update it for Switch 2. Up the resolution, add mappable controls and maybe add 32X/CD games.

It looks like you can flip through about 4-5 items for the item button with L & R, but the fact they aren't dedicated buttons with the D-Pad or something is annoying. Also, they should have made a permanent Ocarina button, it always going to be in my item rotation regardless.

My fears were unfounded. Besides an art style shock, this game looks fantastic. My only complaint is young Zelda's face looks uncanny and off. Idk why, its when she turns around. Ocarina of Time Remake is not as bad as Star Fox in terms of artstyle shock, but it was a little jarring to see at first. But I think I'll adjust to the new style. The only person that looks kinda ugly is young Zelda, but I'll save my judgements on her until I see older Zelda.

The only part I hope they redesign into something new is Hyrule Field. Just making a big open flat arena for the third time won't cut it anymore. It's gotta feel like an actual playground area with things to do and events that can happen.
