Book 16 of 100 3/5 The thing about rom-com stories is, a lot of the “conflict” can be resolved immediately if the love interests behaved like mature adults and used their words to say how they feel instead of ASSUMING how the other person feels. This book was a lot of that. #booksky

Book 13 of 100 3/5 This is my 4th Emily Henry book. The lady has a formula. It works but again it makes the book very predictable and very annoying. I mean how many ways can you write about a woman that puts her career before her love life??!??? You can have both, stop it. #booksky

Book 12 of 100 4/5 I think I liked this book better than the 1st. And having watched the adaptation of the 1st book on Netflix, it definitely helps visually when reading the series. This book was witty, sad, funny, and joyous. I can’t wait to read the next book. #booksky

Book 10 of 100 4/5 Did I enjoy this book? Yes. However, it’s wild to me as a Black American to hear some Black Africans say we (Black Americans) have no culture because this book was filled to the brim with references to Black American culture. Artists, music, movies, slang, etc. IJS #booksky

Book 7 of 100 3/5 I really enjoyed All The Sinners Bleed (4/5), so I was super excited for this one. The plot twist was wild and unexpected, but I had a hard time believing the main character’s story arc. And Dante has GOT TO BE the most annoying character that’s ever been written. #booksky
