Also I’m curious how many of these job cuts are independent contractors that are at the end of their contracts. Seems like that’s the way the industry is going. Hire independent contractors to get a job done and then let them go. Cheaper for the company.

Understand how important the campaign is to Halo’s legacy and will do it justice. Time will tell. Guess this also means the rumored remakes for 2 and 3 are dead.

A good campaign over multiplayer, that sucks. COD hasn’t had a good campaign in a long time, because they make their money in the multiplayer arena. I just hope Activision doesn’t do the same with Halo. I’d rather see Xbox just kill the IP instead. Maybe the team that they put together for it will

Listening to the latest @pstrophyroom.bsky.social and I have to say, @mrbadbit.bsky.social my issue with Activision taking over Halo isn’t that they’ll Call of Duty it, my fear is that they’ll focus way too much on the multiplayer and the campaign will suffer. And as someone who would rather play

Pre-ordering the new iPhone 18 Pro Max tomorrow. Seriously considering getting a new phone number, too. I've had the same number forever, so it would be a pain in the ass to change it everywhere. But a part of me wants a fresh start, so to speak.

I’m very fortunate. I’m at a small company and I’ve been there 10 years. Each year I have received a raise. I know plenty of people that go years without one, so I don’t take it for granted.

Kyle Johnson @kylejohnson.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Don’t get me wrong, I’m appreciative of the pay raise I got today. But for some reason I’m just not real excited about it either. Guess when you still have to deal with the double standards and favoritism, it makes it hard to really be happy when something good does happen.

Where's everyone getting prebuilt PCs from these days? Not looking to break the bank or really game, just need something more reliable than the 8 year old machine I currently have.

Every day it gets more and more difficult to go into work and deal with management that you have zero respect for. Makes it even worse when they have never done your job, but they think they know how long it should take to get your projects done.

Halo: Campaign Evolved completed on legendary! Time to go collect all the skulls and terminals, as well as play through the bonus missions. Really like that when you play on PS5, the achievements also unlock on Xbox.

Definitely! As much fun as it is to get 100% in games, some of the trophies/achievements they have are ridiculous to achieve. And multiplayer ones are big turn off for me.

I'm the same way. Especially when you factor in games that have multiplayer trophies/achievements. I was thinking about this when I rolled the credits on Halo Infinite, knowing I'll never go after the multiplayer achievements for the 100%.
