There is absolutely no viable path forward for this country that doesn’t hinge on extreme accountability for everyone involved in this administration. They’re going to whine about politicization and credulous media types will echo them, but the thing is, they’ve committed tons of obvious crimes!

Also, the Alberta independent movement basically disappeared after the Yandex site was bombed. Fancy that.

If Dems regain power, charge this as the election fraud/interference it clearly is. This is a coordinated, intentional lie by the core of Republican actors as evidenced by ghouls likeiller immediately picking it up. Sue them all as individuals and charge them all with conspiracy.

Disagree. We've "it's not worth it"ed ourselves into this exact situation where there is no consequence for the endless lies of right wing grifters, which gives the incentive to lie more. Sue them into poverty. Tie them up for their entire lives in cases for their clear defamatory lies.

Counterpoint: more of these dumb motherfuckers need to self-brand in a way that immediately lets everyone know they're not serious people and should be ignored and shunned in all aspects of life.

It let you go right from the efficient (but still relaxing) shower into the tub. Only thing I'd do differently is extend the shower area to under the tub. We had a bath cart that was the perfect height for snacks/drink/tablet playing shows next to the tub. It's a miracle I didn't dissolve.

It really, really was. We've since moved but that bathroom will remain an inspiration for a future build. This is right after it was done. That shower area was sometbing like 4x4 with a rain shower. Whole thing was like a personal spa room

Also I got the tub for like $90 from a surplus auction. Install obviously adds cost but if you've already got the space it's very affordable if you watch for them.

When we did a remodel I snagged a LUXURIOUSLY deep and long tub. Like 6 ft of actual bottom tub length then sloped to the top and 2.5 ft deep or so. It definitely posed a drowning hazard due to how unencumberedly relaxed I could be. 10/10, highly recommend.

It's unforgivable that the West has let Russia wage an information war on the world for over a decade. Though it's completely understandable as the first attacks took out both the UK and US. Now think of why far right technofascists are building as many data centers as they can...

Part that but also, there is literally nothing Trump/Republicans have done in the last ~2 years that benefits anyone. They passed their give-to-the-rich tax bill that raised healthcare costs and that's the last bill they passed. Everything else has been personal grift and cruelty.

There’s already video of some NYPD helping ICE leave after the shooting and the role of the police in aiding these incidents has to be addressed.

Least, most bare minimum undeservedly merciful treatment of everyone in the regime from interns to Trump is life in prison and a forfeiture of all assets. No "I was just following orders" or "I only facilitated the murder and kidnapping of innocents, I didn't do it personally!" excuses.

About the only conservative position that makes sense is their recognition that more educated, smarter people are a direct threat to their movement.

What's even the pitch now? Come work for DOJ, where you're more likely to be ordered to commit a felony than prosecute one!

There should be WAY more coverage and conversation about how a central point of conservative campaigns right now is just shouting slurs. The GOP pitch is that the worst people around have permission to be indecent in public. Anyone still supporting Rs does so because they're a bad person.

This from Kelly and the ad from Ken Paxton's ex need to be front and center anytime anyone tries to paint these willing co-conspirators as victims of the men they actively, willingly, knowingly support. Conservative women have agency and they use it to hurt everyone else, same as conservative men.

Every ad of every local business and event lately is the same AI slop maximalist poster-style trash with every pixel filled with something. I can't wait for trends to swing back to notices being a 3x5 note card with the time and location and nothing else.

FFS, Brazil. Not like there's any country doing well against far right dictators right now, but seriously read ANY book about how setting up a far right authoritarian family dynasty goes. This is like speed running a full collapse. Like looking at the US disaster and saying "we can do it faster."

No, no, let them try that. If anything they should run a massive campaign with Trump and Paxton talking about something deeply Texan, like maybe oil and gas. They should want every American to be thinking of Trump, Paxton, and gas when they think of the GOP on November.

Ending Hyde is a good start. Going after these groups for pushing medical lies and, if I had to guess based on their affiliation with the GOP crime syndicate, money laundering/fraud too.

It's a close competition, but I'd say these "elite" universities are far and away the institution that's proved most undeserving of their reputation over the last 2 (or 10) years. Seems they're just fascist training grounds behind a very thin veneer.

"Best and brightest" at these "elite" schools has pretty well been proven to actually mean "richest failsons with no actual ability" plus whatever the minimum amount of minorities they have to have to successfully argue it's not an all male white-supremacist training ground.

We need to force DOJ down to local prosecutors to take a stance. Is hacking illegal or not? bsky.app/profile/kyle...

So everyone involved is going to prison then, right? Or is hacking the government legal now? Anyone can aim cyber attacks at the government then be like "wasn't me, it was the computer program I created and control. Not my fault." and that's a valid defense if these attacks aren't prosecuted.

So I assume the companies that own these AIs will all be charged for the criminal hacking of other companies and of governments, right? I mean, unless the new rules are any of us can point an AI at a target and commit all the crimes then just go "oops, it was the computer not me."

* @kylegarner.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
So if I make a tool that steals all known copyrighted material and all the IP it can reach and also hacks into other companies and government services, that's cool now? Not my fault, no criminal responsibility on my end, right? And I get billions for it? Because that's the AI biz model.

Also which institutions actually held? The courts overall are lawless wastelands of corruption. Basically all of Article I is dead letter law. DOJ exists solely as a Republican protection racket. Universities caved and media is entirely owned by loyalists now. So what's left after just 2 years?

* @kylegarner.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
Point and laugh. Mock every Republican as the loser they are at every opportunity. Make them either own their loyalty to a movement of the most incompetent losers in history or quietly slink back away from society and don't give an inch when they lie to hide the total failure of every GOP act.

* @kylegarner.bsky.social · 23/09/2026
Seizing every cent of every Republican crook is table stakes for any Democratic administration. There's not a single honest dollar anywhere in the Trump family or Musk or Thiel or Mercer or any of the others. Prosecute their crimes against America and take away their ability to reoffend.

In conservativism there exists two types of people: those who commit and support sexual abuse and those kicked out of the movement for not sufficiently supporting sexual abuse. If someone is still supporting the criminal enterprise that is conservativism, you know the kind of person they are.

Yeah, there's no comparing the dread that came with knowing the people coming into power are going to destroy literally everything up to and including the habitable environment vs their fear that they won't be able to say slurs in public or have to see minorities in jobs again.
