You're completely gunked up with cortisol due to the fact that your entire daily life is now underscored with a haunting awareness of the rapid erosion of your rights, dignity, and any and all social safety nets, and you're also bearing witness to the most vulnerable people immediately being persecuted. This creates a natural stress response that basically means you're going to continue having memory and organizational problems, as well as emotional imbalances.

I'm currently working on a fanedit that combines them into one three-and-a-half hour movie (it's almost done) and something that's so amazing about seeing them as one piece like that is he was the perfect actor for every moment of it despite how much his character changes. Lightning in a bottle.

I can't wait to see what that dynamic is, exactly. Jesse and (this version of) Dylan are both very relatable characters to me, so between that and various life events between the first game and now, I expect this game to be very affecting to me.

@peppepappa.bsky.social Just listened to OCD. I love the sound of Resonant so much. It's so unique, getting this emotional and heroic sound through a very different lens than what is usually done to produce that feeling. It's the music of a heroic outcast, just like Dylan is in this game.

Honestly, I do. I grew up on the long-ass 360/PS3 generation, so the gap between PS4 and PS5 already felt too short to me. Between that, the production issues of this generation, and the fact that I just got a laptop that can play new games, I don't even wanna think about next gen until like 2030.

I loved the gameplay too. I interpreted the action to be as much the drug he was hooked on as the painkillers, all the little lines of dialogue after you kill a monster of him enjoying it. Here at the end, Draculae tells him "If you take this, you'll be an addict forever." He rejects that--(2/3)

Oooofff, most of what I've seen of this remake has been very good, but those shots of Edward and Duncan Walpole in the opening cutscene are a BIG case of the Remaster/Remake Stripping Out All The Atmosphere. I definitely need to know what exactly the modern day is before I get this.
