Now interestingly as I was talking to my sister she helped confirm the science: if a trans child can be prevented from going through puberty and instead do HRT to go through the needed version of puberty. Then fuck yes they should be able to participate in sports. So that was a nice clarification.

Well I am the brother of one, work with two wonderful MTF ladies. And yes, they have showed me the research that they would draw their opinions on. And correct HRT does amazing things to correct a number of the issues transgender people face. It is not a fix all. It is not a magic wand.

As to my sister and aunt. Well one is in the medical field. The other teaches biology. And they agree with Pete. There needs to be a conversation. Biologically, a transgender woman still has the advantages of their bone and muscle structure of their birth sex. That constitutes an advantage.
