Our cases were returned to us yesterday but I couldn’t unpack until this evening (cos out gallivanting last night 😁) I’m always relieved to be reunited with luggage but this was next level. I actually kissed my Florence Marathon medal - of all the contents, this was what I wanted back the most! ☺️

Two days since returning from holiday and we are being spammed by British Airways overnight asking for more details about what is in our missing cases, despite being informed yesterday that our cases were on a flight arriving at Heathrow.

After a very interesting couple of attempts at landing at Gatwick yesterday we got kicked off the plane in Amsterdam in the end! Still, at least we had a delicious brunch this morning at Blushing. Let’s try and get home today, shall we? 🤞
