I'll continue drawing so long as I enjoy doing so. it's still something that brings me a level of peace, no plans to disappear anytime soon. I do hope I can find it in me to draw like I did in ~2022 tho. the same drive from back then just doesn't exist rn even if you could argue I've improved?

it's a collage of most of the things I drew this year, to end off 2025 still mostly Helena, but some new stuff like uma and hololive which I hadn't drawn before. mon3tr got me to draw one arknights thing, but I kinda wanna do more AK in the future. and xenoblade 2, I was able to draw the whole cast

so I dunno what's in store moving forward, I doubt I'd stop drawing Helena completely any time soon, since I still very much love her. but I'm not sure that's really the best decision I can make for myself. on the off chance this is seen, thx for sticking through the ramblings of a conflicted artist

when I first dropped azur around 1st anni it was because I thought, I don't rlly care about most of the characters in this game, why bother. I did end up picking it back up, and finding more to love in a few of the girls, but at the end of the day that same sentiment is still very much there...

overall, I definitely understand the general sentiment and discontent with fanservice that azur has trended towards. while it's nice to see Helena content, I don't think we'll ever get a new skin that tops those by realmbw, her og artist. it's just a time long gone, and that's the reality

the onsen skin is definitely not fitting for this. I'm unsure if I'll end up drawing it, as it's still Helena and I love Helena. but I will prioritize what I wanted to depict for her over chasing the new thing. I can't draw for another week, so time is gonna be tight for this launch day piece lol

Helena's launch day is coming up. I already had plans for what I wanted to draw already, something that hopefully can be a callback to the fact that they're shipgirls. the ship part is oft forgotten, I'm guilty of this too. but that is what I wanted to try and depict this year

prolly only gonna post abt it here just to have it off my chest azur livestream had new Helena skin which is by far the character I'm most attached to ever. obviously, a part of me is glad to see her getting new content. and yeah im not gonna pretend I don't think of Helena in that way at times
