Some journey for Huw to finally become a Lion. Injury during his breakout 16/17 campaign ended his chances of going on the NZ tour. Was in terrible form for the couple of years leading up to 2021 partly due to Dave Rennie playing him at 15 which meant he wasn’t picked for SA

Given sides like Western Force only become a focus of rugby in the UK & Ireland for a couple of days every 12 years, it’s a shame that in the build up on Sky there’s been nothing about the rollercoaster 12 years they’ve had since the last time the played the Lions.

10 of the 23 today were playing a pointless test against Uruguay on 27th of July last year. The first preseason game was on the 31st of August. 250 man games lost to injury this season. It’s been an uphill battle all season, and unfortunately we made it harder at times than it already was.
