Outside my office window A wall of sunny sunflowers Waves in the breeze. I am grateful for their cheery reminder of the beauty in our world. Thinking of the families in Texas who have lost loved ones in the terrifying storms. Wishing everyone some peace and comfort in these challenging days.

Unexpected joy! I often take care of my parents, ages 93 and 94, and tonight we ended up singing together for hours. I turned on Pandora, which led us through great songs from the 60s and 70s. It's interesting how we haven't heard these tunes in decades, but still remembered every word. (Continued)
