What the bloody hell? Dude got some issues that only a professional can help with if he went off like that. So unnecessary. Wish you didn't have to meet up with such an individual. Unreal. Sorry that you had to experience something like that.

If not in October because of financial reasons, maybe look at them closely when Black Fridays sales start.

Glad things are finally working out on your end, even if only somewhat.

We lost Peter Cullen today too. This week has been beyond tragic. And, sadly, I saw that video too. They didn’t have a hope. Can’t even imagine.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

All I've been able to find so far is that police have launched an investigation, especially since there's a recent interview that she did where she talks about a lot of troubling things in her life. I personally haven't found it, but there's apparently a laundry list of topics she discusses on it.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Yeah, also noticed that no cause has been mentioned yet. Might have been very sudden.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

That news definitely threw me. I had no idea that she passed. That's terrible. She was so incredibly young. 😢

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Agreed. Backups are essential. Glad you managed to find a win somewhere.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

That’s horrible. I’m so sorry that happened. Absolutely terrifying. What a way to spend the day. 😵‍💫

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

Hope you're staying safe over there. Saw Ted's update about the storm and tornado warnings, and saw the video of all the rain pouring through the convention center's roof.

Pretty much, yeah. It reminded me of when Phil Collins was the entire Tarzan soundtrack.

Legitimate question, but when 3.0 then 3.5 came out, did you believe those too were different editions?

What’s kind of funny with how true it is, is the one comment that says if you made X subclass part of the core martial class is the easiest fix ever. I don’t know that I agree with the one reply to that saying it’d fix 80% of the issues. Maybe like 50%. It’d definitely add 80% more fun.

Here's a draft manuscript of the Magic: The Gathering roleplaying game from 1996, and I've giving it away as a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, with permission from the authors. Not sure how much to ask for. Vanishingly rare. $1,872 raised so far. #mtg #ttrpg

A bastion room for the BBEG of the dungeon. Great for making potions, magic items, or armor to outfit the monsters within.

Maybe from a ski resort in BC or Alberta. Avoid the prairies like the plague during the winter months. It might as well be Alaska here. Honestly couldn’t tell you. My part is done, so now it’s the fine-tuning on their end. I know it’s getting playtested, but I’m out of the loop beyond that.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

"Bad" is a relative term for a Canadian winter. It's been between -51 and -56F for a few days. Needless to say you didn't leave your house unless it was an emergency. Thankfully I was able to get groceries delivered and didn't have any pressing appointments. Today it warmed up to -20F.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Yeah, it's been while to see the weather report for how nuts that ice storm is down there. At least 170 million Americans affected. I know a couple of people who were told to gather firewood in case power went out, and sure enough it happened for many of them. Hope you escaped the brunt of it.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

Hope it turned out well. Happy birthday to your little one. 🎂🎁🎉🎈

Yeah, it’s pretty standard. The platform crashes semi-regularly, especially when a hype episode comes out.

Beware of someone named Agnes Juno who steals artwork and tries to sell herself as the original artist. She asked me if I wanted to collaborate but I recognized one of the artworks she said was hers as being something I saw on Kickstarter earlier this year. I hate these losers.

ARTISTS: there’s a scam going around where someone will commission you, you send the sketch and they will claim it’s AI and ask to be refunded. • do not refund the person • POST their @ - do not keep them censored • ONLY send watermarked low res WIPs. it doesn’t matter if it’s a mutual or not.

Your art isn’t bad just because it’s not selling right now. We’re in a recession and people don’t know when they’re gonna eat next, nobody can afford fun things because the economy is crumbling. It’s going to be hard a while.

Absolutely ridiculous. I hope you were able to cancel your hotel reservations without issue.

And not having the right clothes, I got bullied for that too, as early as Kindergarten.

No, the bullying never stopped until I completely cut myself off and kept my head down. Helped that I missed weeks of school and did half semesters starting in Grade 11. I was in the out of sight, out of mind phase.

100

Even my sister got it for a while, but by that time my parents had learned better than to just believe the nonsense of “if they’re bullying you then they’re not your real friends.” So profound. But she was also an athlete so she was in a different group of status.

I was bullied because my family was poor compared to the other kids. Owning certain toys and having the right amount of cable channels meant you were less likely to get harassed. Even kids with single parents had stuff because of alimony money. It was all about status.

100

It’s unfortunately just the reality of things. I can’t imagine growing nowadays where it’s practically mandatory to have a smart phone to get accepted.

100

It’s not even about feeling fulfilled, it’s about not getting bullied too. My parents could only afford an Atari 2600 when the NES first came out. Years later, after all the bullying, they managed to get me a Gameboy for Christmas, and I finally wasn’t as bullied. I could now game with others.

Just for fun, recently the Dungeon Dudes did a video with Ginny Di on optimization builds. Maybe as an April Fools video, do the absolute least optimized build that’d still be fun to play. Absolute dead last on the tier score for damage, but just an interesting character for a one-shot.

kvid.bsky.social @kvid.bsky.social · 20/10/2025

Go with your gut. If you decide to do six back-to-back single-class builds because you experienced a major epiphany, do it up. Same thing goes if that epiphany is a few multiclass builds. The only thing you’re beholden to is the spreadsheets. Your viewers will like whatever concept you give us.
