Three pieces from a weeklong arts retreat last month! (Nearly forgot to post these) My first ventures in printing, airbrushing, & more detailed painting on glass (than I've done up to now). Love the way the prints and stenciled patterns came out especially, expect to see more of that in the future 👀

Vigilo

A stained glass work in the form of a realistically shaped cat head, but with a symmetrical pattern of nine eyes of different colors. The main part of the head is white, with bright pink inner ears and nose; the colors of the eyes are (from top to bottom, left to right): iridescent, gray, black, blue, red, yellow, purple, green, and orange, each with pupils painted in black. The piece is hanging from a hook attached to a window with daylight coming through, showing the different translucent effects of the various colors of glass.

After literal YEARS of procrastination, this piece is now FULLY cut, ground, and foiled! (Time to get extremely nervous about how well all this soldering is gonna go...) Hopeful I'll squeeze in enough time to complete it by the end of the month!

A stained glass work in the form of a realistically shaped cat head, but with a symmetrical pattern of nine eyes of different colors. The work is still in its component pieces, each edged with copper foil, aligned to show the final design, but isn't yet soldered together, and the eyes don't yet have pupils painted on. The pieces are resting on a work surface with light shining from above (with some reflecting off the white pieces and the copper foil in particular), so the full translucent effect of the glass isn't shown. The main part of the head is white, with bright pink inner ears and nose; the colors of the eyes are (from top to bottom, left to right): iridescent, gray, black, blue, red, yellow, purple, green, and orange.

Claw pendant I designed! Making a few different ones to get in some practice beading edges before having to do so on a bigger project (so hard to get smooth enough, guh 🥴)
