Why is acceptance for neurodivergent behavior and issues never extended to me as well? Half the time the people toughest on me for my autistic traits or making me mask are fellow autistic people who recieve nothing but kindness for the same type of struggles or odd behaviors. Why am I different?

If after knowing me for years your immediate response to an honest mistake is to block me, no explanation or context, and just sever ties, i respect your decision. But it hurts that you would just immediately jump to that. It just shows me I didn’t matter enough to you to try to sort it out. Sucks

I wish I could go into stasis for a while. My life since 2024 had been waiting for it to be “the right time” for me in others lives. People telling me they care but constantly saying “it has to wait till x or y or z is done.” Some were lying, others just bad luck. If I need to wait, let me sleep.

support network crumbles cuz everyone in it is overwhelmed or being fucked with or has serious and understandable things to deal with. Eventually you learn that much as they want to help you they can’t, and you must become independent, or die from lack of resources. Either way just my lot in life

It makes disappointments into aggressive warnings of impending doom. When things are going right everyone being kind is seen as extremely dangerous times ahead. You become not just self hating/depressed, but genuinely AFRAID to be happy because that’s when people went for you. People don’t get that

It’s really hard to explain to everyone how bad it was for me. The people I’ve met the past few months are so kind, but they can’t seem to grasp how low and how alone I was. It seems foreign to them just how badly I was treated, and the ways it happened seem impossible to them.
