They can't say it out loud because the answer to how AI is making games faster/better to develop is "we don't have to pay as many wages." But Anna, "AI is just making workers more productive." So are those workers getting a raise? No. Are they continuing to staff up? No. Are the game worse? Yes.

Wherever I’m With You (Putnam 2027), a co-created graphic novel by Suzanne Samin and me, follows two former best friends from the Bronx: Aran, a Syrian American teen, grappling with his mother’s death, and Tao, a college basketball star, who have to face life and old feelings once Tao moves back.
