Gaming Year 2026 #31 Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Such a wonderful game! ❤️ I quickly fell in love with it and couldn't put it down. Now, I need more Cal Kestis in my life! Hope we'll get another sequel.

Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave is out today! I'm playing the series ever since it was first released in Europe. Only finished a small amount unfortunately. However I'm immensely curious about the new one and will check it out later. 🤓

Marvel's Wolverine is out today! And even Disney Plus adjusted their Playstation App to Wolverine colours. 😁

Today is the 10th anniversary of Persona 5 This game means a lot to me! Feels weird that it's been almost 10 years since I finished it for the first time. It's my favourite game of its decade, on some days I even feel like calling it my favourite game ever.

Very much enjoy the character design on display here. Also, Gulu and Gido are the goats! I wish them all the best in their life! ❤️

When I'm done with Cal he will look like a totally different person. 😂 But I love the the variety of hairstyles you can have!

I found a cape and I'm a sucker for those so I'm wearing it! 😁 Also unlocked full beard for Cal. He looks kinda weird, but I'm rocking it anyway!

Kuro @kurosame.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

The character and light saber customisation options are insane! You can swap out every individual part of your light saber or BD-1, dye them and adjust the polish. Game also has some really nice vistas! ❤️

#FFXIV Patch 7.56 I am beyond hyped for Evercold now! I didn't expect them to set so much groundwork already. The stage is set and I can't wait to start in January! Also the new artworks in the credits are absolutely gorgeous! Gulool Ja is so baby! ❤️

Thinking about the stuff I enjoy to brighten my mood. Very much looking forward to the FFXIV patch next week with the final Dawntrail era MSQ and Beastmaster. 🐅 Wolverine is less than 2 weeks away. 💛 I recently caught up on Sakamoto Days - very enjoyable! 📚

This morning my playlist decided to confront me with the duality of my personality waking me up with the hard metal sounds of A Devil's Call in Your Heart (from F-Zero X) right before switching to the happy relaxing beats of Windfall Island (Zelda Wind Waker). 😂

The concept art for the bear race in Guild Wars 3 is so good! ❤️ Very appealing! Very tempting! They know what they are doing!

Gaming Year 2026 #30 Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy This is exactly the kind of game I enjoy. Adventure, mystery, combat, exploration, puzzles - a little bit of everything put together in a compelling narrative with pleasing visuals, great voice acting and a gripping soundtrack.

Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy Started the game and it immediately hits me with a big, gentle, strong bear of a man. My weakness...🫠

Currently re-playing Kingdom Hearts II, but the Final Mix for the first time. It's such a shame that there is no toggle for Heartless colour in the 2.5 collection. It kinda irks me that the majority of players new to the franchise have the alternate colour scheme as their first experience.

Gaming Year 2026 #29 Cocoon This is an absolutely mind bending experience! Super satisfying game design! This is one of the best games I played this year, if not even this decade.

Finally got a haircut today, but every time I get one I notice how my hairline is receding more and the hair grows thinner. In a few years I might need to think about a style change. 🤔

I feel like Furry Fandom is sleeping on Gorillavark from the new Avatar Aang movie. I hear nobody talking about him in my bubble and see no fanart at all. What's going on, Furries?!

#FFXIV I'm currently going through Cosmic Exploration and I really enjoy the sidequests within. Seeing characters from and references to Studium deliveries from Endwalker was a great surprise! And the quest "A Manager's Power" was hilarious! I'm laughing my ass off! 🤣

#FFXIV "So priceless a fuel as passion, burnt in perpetuity, turns talent to ash." That is a really good quote! 😲

#FFXIV Patch 7.55 Phantom Weapons One of the steps requires you to go through all the Dawntrail duties again. I really like this! It keeps them accessible and it's also a trip down memory lane. That's everything I experienced in the last two years. I'm looking forward to going through all of it!

020

Kuro @kurosame.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

#FFXIV Dawntrail's Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures were amazing! I had a blast going through that questline! 😎

I've been watching the live action adaptation of The Last Airbender. It was very entertaining! It's well crafted; the VFX and fight choreographies look amazing. Looking forward to season 3. Also, I think Ian Ousley is perfectly cast as Sokka. 👌 The casting in general is very good!

Time to begin my journey through The Witcher franchise. I'm very excited. My only experience with The Witcher is the first Netflix season and like an hour of the third game. I want to go back to the beginning and start with the books. 🤓

Gaming Year 2026 #28 Star Fox (2026) I enjoyed it, but it's not a genre I'm experienced in. And the lack of experience results in a rather low skill level. As a remake it's well made. I kinda expected them to add more, but giving it a modern touch makes for a well rounded experience.

110

Kuro @kurosame.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Gaming Year 2026 #27 Rhythm Paradise Groove Incredibly fun game that is capable of making me smile very efficiently! I unlocked the credits, so I consider it beaten. However there is still plenty more game to play and stuff to unlock. This will entertain me for a good while longer. 🎶

Gaming Year 2026 #26 Afterparty After playing Oxenfree earlier this year, it was now time to check out Night School Studio's next game. This one is more comedic. I had a decent time and I'm interested to play the other endings as well. This depiction of hell is fun and creative.
