And last but not least... the last combat class, the Thief! Espionage, assassinations, and good ol' common larceny. What's not to love? Thieves are great all-rounders, much like the Rescuer, but they operate on a different level, able to avoid combat entirely if they wish. #art #trpg

One more class, with only two more to go! This is the Mekadoc, a mechanic with a doctor's sensibilities. You can temporarily upgrade your allies and heal their damage, but at the end of your class abilities, you get to create a friend of your very own, Mekabot! #trpg #art

I designed a mecha and some fishy people to pilot them based off an innocuous question on my revospring. revospring.net/@KuRoRonin

A large, fish-like mech with a portly belly and arms and legs. It has a large dorsal and tail fin, and webbed digits. Next to it is the alien creature that pilots it, a Piscelian. It looks just like its mech, but is a lot more lithe in figure. It has glowing red sacs on its pectoral muscles. Both the mech and its pilot have three eyes, and the pilot is about 1/15th the size of its machine.

The text reads:

An amphibious alien people that live on the planet designated as "Piscel", they are currently fighting against human occupation of their home.

Have you designed any original mecha? What about their cockpits? I think itd be nice to see!

Answer:
So I've made a race of aliens. They're psychic amphibians that control large warrior mechs by psychically pumping a mucus that they can secrete in crazy amounts (like if a hagfish was the size of a human, imagine how much slime it could produce) to work as a kind of hydraulic control system. And the mechs are fuckin fat bc they have a whole lot of slime deposits that also work as armor against ballistics. Anyway you can see that shit on my bsky. I haven't figured out what the cockpit looks like, but I imagine it's very wet and slimy.
