get more passionate. that's my advice. being an artist is super lonely. being a writer is the loneliest. mapping out the wrinkles of your brain and sharing it with the world is vulnerable, especially when no one else seems to care, but passion is the secret. get so passionate it doesn't even matter.

For the love of god. Artists. PLEASE sign your work. I hate finding beautiful art with no signatures or watermarks, nothing. I don't care if other people might think it looks "ugly", you made it. Own it. It's your work and I want to be able to find you when I see it. *table flips*

#jjk #itafushi And of course, the most desirable are these boys😁 I'm not sure how "romantic" it turned out, but I feel very tender when I look at them

Digital artists, share your first digital art and year vs. now! 2015 - 2025 It’s funny that digital art has been my main medium for a while now because over 10 years ago, I was struggling a lot with it.

Artists, quote with a piece you wanna redraw someday 🍓 Definitely this one from 2020. I remember being weirdly proud of this drawing at that time. There’s definitely things I would like to change if I ever get around to redrawing this.

“I dont think my art is good enough to make this comic/webtoon/visual novel/game” You should make it, because even if your art isnt where you want it to be, the constant practice you gain while working on a project will rapidly improve your skills as oppose to just waiting

Well the title of my submission for the Silent Manga Audition is fitting since it lost in round one haha. I’m taking in all the feedback they left for me. Anyways, here’s my one-shot manga “Not Good Enough”. smacmag.net/v/sma23/not-... #oneshot #manga

I did like creating the bad and good painting for this one shot. It was actually difficult trying to make the bad painting look like a beginner artist made it.

What's your "artist red flag"? 🚩 - I take forever to finish an illustration unless I have a strict deadline to meet. - I can very easily suffer from burnout. - I’m a huge perfectionist. - Perspective is super confusing to learn for me. - A lot of my color choices are based on vibes.

This was a very hard lesson that I had to learn. The reason I was like that when I started out with art was due to a few art classes giving me a bad experience, very high standards, and bad mental health. It’s important to know that every artist with amazing art skills all started from square one.

Hey! Sorry for the sudden absence on this account. I was working on a silent manga project alongside a fangame project and I got very exhausted from creating stuff. I think I’m now mostly recovered so I’ll be posting more art on here very soon.

I don’t normally post traditional art on here, but I did like these pen doodles of my OCs. I’m trying to see if I can make an interesting story with these two boys. They’re kind of like exact opposites of each other. #OC #OriginalCharacter #OriginalArt #Doodles #Sketches #一次創作 #落書き #デッサン #オリジナル

Pen doodles of my OCs done in notebook paper. It feature two doodles of my delinquent boy alongside another character who happens to be more of a studious and timid boy. He is holding a book with a nervous look while the delinquent has a more fighting stance, which can show his more aggressive personality.

Ok fine I’ll give this OC stuff another try. Doodles of an original character I’ve been working on for quite a bit. Possibly for a one-shot. He doesn’t have a name yet. #OriginalArt #OriginalCharacter #OC #Doodles #Sketches #一次創作 #落書き #デッサン #オリジナル

Digital sketches of an Original Character I’ve been drawing for quite a bit. He is supposed to be kind of like a delinquent character who uses a gray baseball bat as his main weapon. His clothing is a leather jacket with a red hoodie and blue jeans. He wears a bandana that has a blue and red stripe pattern with a star at the center. There’s also a small bandage covering his left cheek. He has a one side hairstyle going to the right side of his face and is colored brown like his eyes. Lastly, his skin tone is a light brown.

Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen as a merman. Design is based on a Tiger Shark.

This is something I had to come to terms with. Trying to land an art career is very difficult. I would often think my art was bad because it didn’t gain an audience within the 7 years I posted on social media. Add to the fact that I’m a socially awkward person so it gets even harder for me.

Talking about art style will always bring in those people claiming they don’t have a style And I can assure you, at least 99% of you do, you just don’t recognize it. There is something about your art that is very you. Your lineweight, your voice, skills, lack of skills It’s there!
