Cutting off a close friend is not an easy task. Everything in your mind fights it, even when you know deep in your heart that this *is not* the person you grew close to before. This is...someone else now. This isn't the laughter and joy from before, this is spite and ego.

I'm ashamed how long it took me to realize. I'm ashamed of how many times I lapsed on the morals I keep telling myself I have. I'm ashamed of how many times I let that happen. I'm not blind to it anymore. I attempted to tell them, talk to them about it. They were not interested.

I realized the amount of times I let my morals lapse, how many excuses I've made for them, how many times I've seen them be rude and cruel. Despite seeing it, I was somehow blind to it. Then, one day, as it happened again in front of me, I let it pass...but it stuck in my mind. "This isn't ok."

There has been someone who has been friends with me for many years. A good friend, someone deeply rooted in my life, someone I trusted and cared about. I've realized recently that this friend has changed over the years...we all do, no issue in that. But unfortunately not all change is good.

Every time I go to a con, I am overwhelmed with the desire to masc up my sona. Because of the Nanachi bases I've used, my character is very feminine coded...and chief, I am *not*, hate to break your immersion. It's hard to masc up "pink rabbit", but I'd actually enjoy the contrast I think.

It seems the Frame isn't everything people wanted it to be, but it's still certainly not a bad headset. The wireless is apparently unlike anything before it...but only a 2 hour (and sometime sub hour) battery life is hard to defend. Shoulda stole from Apple and did the pocket battery.

Talking with people who own it, it seems to be a non-issue. People say just unplug it when not in use, and if you're paranoid to just up the fan speed in the program.

Apparently some "insiders" who are testing it say the battery life isn't much, and to save cost Valve isn't even shipping a charging brick. I think if anyone wants the best PC VR experience, the Beyond 2 is the top of the mountain...and it just recently had a price drop, despite everything!

Seems the Steam Frame is imminent, early reviews are leaking and probably getting launched in a couple days. I'm personally guessing there is no way, with how expensive tech is rn, that it'll be under $1,400 With everything in front of us, a few friends said fuck it and got a Bigscreen Beyond 2e
