Senator Cohen names 26 crimes in his thorough articles of impeachment. The reason to impeach isn't political. It's protecting the presidency. Trump has committed the crimes that require impeachment. If we don't then impeach, we are setting precedents, for the future.

I've been quiet on here because I've been busy in my personal community and they aren't on here. My advice - get your lives in order so you have the freedom to drop everything and head to a protest for a full day. Have your car ready with supplies to keep yourself and others safe.

I just learned it is not illegal to send glitter bombs in the mail. I recommend double checkimg, but from my research it appears legal. The only possible issue I saw was it could be considered harassment if you sent a bunch. But lots of people sending one wouldn't fall under that.

In my state (MT), Lukas Schubert introduced house bill 927, which would make mandated reporting include reporting "illegal immigrants." As someone who has been a mandated reporter most of my life, I am seeing red on this. His number is (406) 609-6099.

@altnps.bsky.social I know you aren't the dept of education but I haven't seen anyone notice this and I'm very concerned. The new EO "Ending Indoctrination in Schooling" includes very specific wording that contradicts the IDEA, which protects the education of students with disabilities.

Where I live is too small, but I have an idea for some of the bigger cities seeing massive DEIA layoffs - maybe private companies could form that pool those talents to work together to resist? Firing everyone is horrific, but also just stupid. A lot of those people prob have a ton to offer.
