Soon ^^ A new book journey is starting with new chapters every two weeks.

A small snippet from my new book, A Study of Scandalous Desire.

Clara sits motionless by the window, her chestnut hair tumbling over her shoulders. She gazes out at the dreary town, watching as rain slashes the cobblestone streets below. Each drop feels like a heavy drumbeat against her heart. If only the rain could wash her away too, carry her somewhere far from this stifling place. With a soft sigh, she lowers her head onto her crossed arms on the window sill, the cool glass fogging slightly with her breath. The steady patter of raindrops is almost hypnotic, pulling her eyelids closed.

The storm outside mirrors the turmoil churning inside her. Clara had always known this day would come, but now that it is so close, she feels trapped, unprepared. An impulsive part of her yearns to shatter the glass in front of her and leap, breaking free to flee to some distant place where the air doesn't stifle her with duties and expectations.

But that is not to be her fate.

Book Summary "A Study of Scandalous Desire"

Clara, a young woman shackled by the expectations of society, seizes an opportunity to break free from her constricting home life by entering into a loveless marriage. Her husband, bound by duty rather than affection, reveals his indifference toward women, leading Clara to find solace in his family estate. Here, she crosses paths with Gabriel, her father-in-law, an esteemed yet roguish author of risqué romance novels. As their shared love1 for literature ignites an unconventional courtship, Clara's innocence begins to unravel under Gabriel's seductive tutelage.

Frequent clandestine encounters in the library fan the flames of their forbidden desire, edging them closer to a scandal that could ruin them both.

"A Study of Scandalous Desire" is a story of lust, consequence, and the haunting question of whether love can ever truly excuse the sins it incites.

Sin may have accidentally turned Gale evil without even trying... 🙈 It works out well in my current run, but I gotta be more careful next time lol It's Sin's lot that he tries to be supportive and helpful, and it ends not so well for the rest of the world.
