i'll praise yatora's growth until my last breath but wow him saying "i'm ready to work hard to become an artist" IN CHAPTER 71 makes me want him to breathe his last

#blpspoilers 71 looove that you can feel how much fun yamaguchi has had with johan's character ever since introducing them into the blpverse and the not-so-subtle callbacks to kamiya

oddly enough i feel like i can't comment on the dance of spring manga too much with my brain filling in the info/moments from the light novel that were left out.. i wonder how it reads as a standalone to someone going in blind

yoru can't envision a future after leaving the home and above all else, wants to be with tenjaku forever tenjaku has begun preparing to leave the home and striving towards goals he's set i'm left conflicted: wanting yoru to grow and become independent yet unable to bare the idea of these two apart

mads @kumotora.bsky.social · 15/11/2024

yoru and tenjaku have an immediate, special bond as kids and have found comfort in one another ever since. with the weight of the future piling up as the time they have left in the children's home is running out, discrepancies in their mindsets for the future show, hindering their relationship..

'sheltering eaves' is a raw josei crafted with extreme delicacy to capture the complex circumstances of kids who are placed in child care and the different emotional scars they bare. the story follows yoru and tenjaku, victims of child abuse, throughout their youth as they navigate life with trauma

WHICH I AM VVV HAPPY ABOUT i hate to think about when series are gonna end but we're gonna be at a weird pivotal point of ??? with akayona's ending on the inevitable horizon too (SORRY).. its bizarre to try to imagine what will still be ongoing by then

don't get me wrong it'll forever be That magazine but there's been a drop in series/oneshots i've been following with each new issue ...is this my punishment for rooting for [redacted] to end for sooo long only to be met with returning mangakas i've never personally enjoyed starting new series LOL

mads @kumotora.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

i've considered hana to yume to be in a mini 'golden age' for the last few years but it's slowly starting to come to a close with beloved series ending/reaching their climax followed by new beginnings that don't pique my interest
