I meant it as in, if even machines need rest, why wouldn't we allow ourselves to have it! You deserve to allow yourself to do nothing and feel that it's alright. When we assign too much value to time we feel like losing something if we don't cash it in. Yet, existing, just by itself, is worth it.

I just do everything sleep deprived because that's the only way I can do them! But, it's prefectly fine to be too tired and needing to just, well, rest. A machine needs maintenance, so do we, sometimes nothing is the thing we need to do and that's perfectly fine!

Once you rest a bit everything will fall into place much easier. But, I've been there, had a really stressful job, I know sometimes it's near impossible to switch it off. I hope you get better and eventually manage to do all of the things you're too tired to right now ^^

I need to keep paying attention to my thoughts. When you are mistreated, when you feel bad you can feel, in real time, how you start justifying being a worse person. When you are hurt is not only about what's tangible. Sometimes it erodes your morals. Don't allow yourself to become a worse person.

So, unwarranted advice. It's okay to give a chance to people. One, two, as many as you feel like. But when they tell you what they've done to others, listen to them. You probably won't be an exception. You can only ignore red flags for so long until the warning turns into a menace.

It will always be some special kind of fun to be ghosted by a person you've been supporting through being ghosted themselves. It's exhausting. The normalization of discarding others, the trivialization of what it means to have a friend. You can't never fully replace someone.

Speaking of music, I've spent the last 16 hours working on a song. Not starting it, not finishing it, just adding some things, polishing others and whatnot. From time to time I overproduce my music, probably because I tend to work making very raw harmonic skeletons that I sculpt over and over.

I'd rant, I'd do the mother of all vagueposts, I'd say to myself "I'd rather be talking this with the person in question", but I can't. Sometimes, no matter how kind, patient and close you are to someone, or what you've shared together, some people will vanish into avoidant air once you need them.

I don't recommend being ghosted, feels awful, even more if it's by a close friend. One day you are soulmates and another it's like you've never even met. I'm usually not one to paraphrase Nietzsche, but even the rudest word is more polite than silence.

It makes sense, when we are younger we have younger voices and a lot more leeway on the higher range, which is where we tend to sing at. But, in some ways, that means you get to rediscover how your voice works and which places you can reach now. Each voice is unique, and that's part of the fun
