Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 25/03/2025Here's the concept teaser of the tabletop RPG setting I've been working on for a couple of years. Wasn't sure about sharing it yet, but real life catches up with the setting, so I think it's time. 100
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 24/03/2025It is scary to see the country is getting closer to the RPG setting I’ve been working on day by day. 020

Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 22/03/2025This is the result of being silent for 23 years, accepting one man’s every whim, believing in process only to be dissapointed after each election. In many ways, Turkey was the pilot episode of the show that is live in US right now. 020
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 22/03/2025I'm so happy to see one of the lines I localized for Sylas on a picket sign. President Erdogan's biggest rival has been detained on false claims, resulting mass protests after decades of silence. Now I hope to see my favorite line, "Chains build revolutions, one link at a time" on a sign next. 000

Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 25/08/2024Once upon a time, I was a friendly. Maybe it’s time for me to invite people to a night at the opera, but i’m not sure if it would be the same without all those cool handouts. 010

Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 26/11/2023Started my presentation about board game prototyping with this. Thought mentioning @drgonzo123.bsky.social as a connection between tabletop and digital would be interesting for future game developers (no, I didn’t give them a wake up call like he would) 000
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 17/11/2023I tried, but couldn't find your email adress. I have no idea what the onlinemessages thing is, so it felt like I botched another DG operation. 000
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 14/11/2023My first ‘handler’ introduced the game as a solution to CoC’s “random people investigating weird stuff without enough motivation nonsense” problem. Not seeing it as an issue, I was wary at first but soon saw the game’s real strength and it became my go to system for real cosmic horror. 010
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 23/10/2023I never understood idea of ‘preparing’ an adventure instead of having a plot and being flexible enough to shape the story according to the players’ choices. Being reactive beats trying (and almost always failing) to be proactive. 020
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 21/10/2023Makes sense. I curse the lack of both time and commitment that forces us to watch boxes of unplayed deep strategy games feom afar. 030
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 21/10/2023Scheduling is a big problem for us as well, so we try to make the best of our limited time. 130

Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 10/10/2023Blast, forgot that I have Fate of Cthulhu (AKA The Terminator with Tentacles) as well. I’ll check Hohlbein, thanks. 110
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 10/10/2023I have only four Cthulhu systems in my collection: CoC, Delta Green, Trail of Cthulhu and Cthulhu Dark (holding bag with elder sign motif was cool). Played only two (CoC and DG) Somehow I must have stayed away from pulpy systems. 100
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 10/10/2023Do you have any favorites among Cthulhu “variants” that focus other things than full blown cosmic horror (Achtung, Tech etc.)? 200
Koray Özbudak @kumbil.bsky.social · 05/10/2023I lost my fiancee at (to?) the Night Floors 19-20 years ago. It was the most complex, depressive and cathartic RPG experience I've ever had. Now I'm old and wise enough to stay away from Impossible Landscapes. 010
