iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

i think any complaint about the (field/battle) models being Weird is not a good complaint... it can be a jarring change for sure, but the actual prerendered cutscenes look great! even if they're stuck at a low resolution. tl;dr ep ii good. and it has a ton of charm, especially in its side content.

(sorry my xeno autism is showing) honestly, ep iii's ground combat is fun, but it's not my favourite... it kind of gets rid of a lot of unique aspects that ep i + ii had... it does go by fast though! which is a huge improvement over ep ii. but in terms of mechanics, i really adore ep ii's complexity

it's really good!! i've 100%'d it a few times. it's not perfect by any means but i think the sidequests are extremely cozy... the story content of course, is excellent. :) even the gameplay, once you understand it, is not bad! es combat definitely needs reworking but ep iii handles that.

it is really wonderful! especially this year i've seen a lot of people playing the older entries... i just actively ignore people that are Weird about the games due to xenoblade's recent popularity... they're not worth my time... T_T regardless, the people who genuinely love these games are good!
