That was a very sad day. Hard to believe he has been gone that long.

Christopher Bobal @kujhawk90.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I went to my 1st game when I was 7 (1975). Sat in the front row of the upper deck. It was filled with water as it had recently rained and the planes flying over scared me. But Mets won behind Tom Seaver so all was good.

Without her looks and being an a**hole this card would get little to no attention.

Christopher Bobal @kujhawk90.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I’ve got this to give away this week.

Christopher Bobal @kujhawk90.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I would. I have basically reached that point. I have no more projects to complete. Don’t plan on starting anything. Only thing left is looking for some Tom Seaver items.

1-2 local ones. I’m not looking for anything. I go just to look around.

This piece reinforces a couple of thoughts I’ve been mulling over: 1. “Thou shalt not bear false witness” is far more important than our society values it 2. We are committing untold acts of friendly fire by not being careful when taking our verbal shots at people, wounding those whom we’d protect

Sounds less like Gene Wilder and more like Jimmy Fallon doing a voice impression of Gene Wilder.

So sorry to hear this. It’s never easy. I feel for your mom.

Left is definitely Steve Henderson.

Bummer. We was in such good form. Would have been interesting to see what he would do in support for Seixas.

I’m the opposite. Grew up in NJ but lived in KC area for over 30 years. Jersey lingo still strong.

Hey baseball fans and fellow decent humans. I have never asked this before. I have nearly 6,000 followers and would love to see as many of you repost this so we can get major league baseball and the Hall of Fame’s attention. It is beyond overdue that Curt Flood is inducted into the Hall of Fame #MLB

As a Tom Seaver (super)collector I stopped trying to get all his new cards each year back in 2003 because of the number being produced. I can’t imagine starting to collect someone today.

The @royals.com, in the Community Impact Partnership Agreement, are committing $55 million ($25 million upfront & $1 million a year for 30-40 years) for $1 billion in new stadium funding. Does not sound good to me. Wonder how it compares to what other teams have done. www.kshb.com/news/local-n...
