I thought about it a bit more... I think for me it's also about the fact commissions are rarely expressing purely *my* vision and decisions, so posting them feels like posting someone else's work, too. Working with other people's ideas, making edits and fixes means it's not really "mine" anymore.

Thank you for your input. You've been very supportive of my artwork throughout the years and I appreciate it. I think the AI slop sea also exerts some kind of pressure that whenever I, a real person, post art, is not allowed to be "sloppy" either, otherwise there is no point (my brain says that).

The format is a little different as I am out of the square Shikishis, but I think it actually works a little better. I've warned the commissioner that I cannot replicate it one-to-one, it will be similar but still different, and they were OK with it. Frames of a photoshoot?...
