🤣🤣🤣 I was just looking for something at the grocery store, and lamented to the employee that happened to be stocking in the section that it looks like they stopped carrying something. I was treated to the ~best~ rant about how the parent corps are "optimizing" their selection and how the (+)

(+) quite good at the beginner level stuff, enough so that people think I'm a lot better than I actually am.

(+) even though I usually prefer tutorials where people talk and don't like the standard crochet abbreviations at all. I suppose the idea of carrying the yellow around while you stitch the white part of round three is a tiny bit complicated, but not significantly. As with most things, I'm (+)

Thanks! They're way simpler than they look - they don't actually contain any complicated stitches. The most complicated part is the round that has both the points for the sun & the first part of the blue, & even then it's just color switching. The video I was following explained it very well, (+)

My go to is to take a mouthful of water but not swallow it, then turn my top half upside down and swallow it while inverted. I used to actually take the drink while inverted, but that part doesn't seem to be required.

And since Nuke-Con, I have made these three granny squares with random clearance yarn. The grey one is super soft.

Then during and after Nuke-Con, I stitched these snowflakes. I finished off the roll of thread.

Next, while at Nuke-Con (mostly), I did the other two pride yarns in bought - first Confidence (Pan), then Life (Trans).

Updates! So I'm not sure ~when~ I did this, but it's another spiral in a less-floppy yarn. I didn't do the part to square it out though.

A crochet spiral in lavender and...sage, I think? It's out of my stash of "stitch and pattern trial" yarns, so....
