K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 04/10/2026It's no miracle diet. It's just eating better, a bit less, exercising more. 5 different colors of fruits and vegetables every day to keep things varied. 110
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Been exploring all over. Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland was really fun and nice. 010
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Getting unde 170 pounds is really hard....but am almost there. Perseverance! 4180
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 04/10/2026So...weight is stable/down. Glucose has been under control all week. Blood pressure lower and stable. Has been a good week. :) 1150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Gah...I hate early morning doctor visits. Have 3 this morning. Eye injection, lab sample, and follow up visit. 010
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 30/09/2026This a neat concept. Reminds me of socks I wore a long time ago. :) 110
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Can't while my doc has me running specific labs. No meat and no bread or rice foods until tests are done. Lasts 48 hours. 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Been watching my glucose and blood pressure like a hawk this week. While I know I'm eating right, I'm forever feeling hungry. Today was a meatless Tuesday with no bread products. Hummus and nuts helped. Definitely not easy though. 221
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Spent part of the afternoon at Bonnet Springs Park in Lakelnd. Had dinner, and now about to see Forgotten Island...at the drive in. :) Has been a great day! 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 26/09/2026My peach tea. Should I be in the office of Delores Umbridge? (Forgive that reference, was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the tea.) 120
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Enjoying a Parmrsan and Thyma alone at our Steampunk Afternoon tea. :) Our server has been ever so hospitable. 040

K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 26/09/2026To see art is to view the world through someone else's eyes. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 26/09/2026If it feels like the world is against you, just tell yourself this: "I'm strong enough to get through this. I'll find a way to get through this. I WILL get through this." Because the first step in getting through a problem is believing that you can. 060
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Started scrubbing the front walk. Need to get the driveway and sidewalk done. Not the easiest or most fun job, but has to be done. 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Where do we go from this? I honestly don't know. But I know it's not an easy and simple solution. Do we want a repeat of the "Lost Decade" or the Great Depression? Of course not. But with such a large part of the national and global economy involved in AI, that risk is there and we're part of it. 020
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Products like: Cell phones, Gaming rigs, Amazon deliveries, high speed connections, streaming services, cloud storage, etc. all provide the revenue for the companies driving AI. It's nearly impossible to decouple from them now without massive changes to the way we live and work and socialize. 110
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026In other words, we're in a vicious economic trap that impacts a huge swath of our economy now. Not just from investing (people's retirement accounts included) but from the active spending on products that AI developing companies produce. 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Essentially, right now. the US economy is standing on 2 legs. AI and Consumer spending. If something happens to the AI component, it disproportionately impacts the economy. If that happens, it impacts consumer spending and employment..up or down. 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026The largest 8 companies in the world are: NVidia, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta. Broadcom, and Tesla. These 8 companies represent 38.8% of the total S&P value. If this seems lopsided, it is. But what does this really mean, and why is it important? 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026The spending on AI is currently forecast to be $1 trillion this year. This includes data centers, chips, and software. Since March of 2026, investments in AI were $52 billion, while there was $4 billion on everything else. That means for every $13 invested in AI, $1 was invested in everything else 100
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Something important regarding financial information and AI. According to information provided by Morgan Stanley, AI current accounts fir 1.8% of the total US GDP. And it's estimated to be 3% of total GDP by 2028. For reference, US defense accounts for 1.8% of GDP and Transportation is 1.3% of GDP 110

K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Something I truly love about my city: The variety of international restaurants. We started out looking for Greek food, but ended up having dinner at a Turkish restaurant. Walked to a French pastry shop for coffee afterwards. And we discovered a place that sells Thai, Indian, and Chinese. :) 050

K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Thanks for posting this Zorin. Again, records of ordinary people using the tech available then...and describing what they saw and felt. Also hits me that some of the folks in the log are also gone. 130
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026This day is not just a page in a history book. It impacted and changed lives. Not only the heroes, but also ordinary people. I leave you with two images from the Warner Brothers Store at the WTC Mall. Memories of what was...frozen in time. 651
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026That's how we dealt with the anger, the fear, and the sadness. For us, the world did change that day. Friends who were in New York gave first hand accounts of what happened and what they dealt with. To those reading this long post, understand why so many mark this day. 170
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026The World Trade Center was a target with offices, shops, and restaurants. People were there as morning workers. That day, many friends of mine gathered to do what you woukd today call a "stream". Not for clout, but for communication. It was unrecorded. We didn't think about it. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026On 9/11, there was no convention planned that week. That is a vehicle to help personalize the thought. But what did happen was commercial aircraft, things we use everyday, were turned into weapons to attack a way of life. The buildings in New York were not military targets. 160
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026What started for you to be an ordinary day, has now become a nightmare. Some will have lost friends and family. People try to get online to talk to friends. Social media accounts don't load due to high traffic. Banks and markets close everywhere. The world feels different. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Some friends were on layover flights. They are now stranded, perhaps with little cash as they were travelling on a tight budget. Every television screen keeps replaying an image of a plane crashing into a building down the street from where you planned to be later in the week. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026As you head home, you try desperately to call friends and family. You realize several of your friends had red eye flights to go ro that convention early. You can't get through. You try texting. No response. The cell towers are down there. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026You start hearing comments from people at work that you can't confirm. Your boss calls you into a meeting room. You're told that the country is experiencing a massive terrorist attack. You're told the FAA has grounded all commercial air traffic. The building is closing . 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Then a third text. Another planed crashed in San Diego hitting Camp Pendleton. You don't know what's happening. You try calling your friends, but the cell towers are overloaded and can't connect. You try loading news wen sites. They load slowly. But only text loads. The images won't download. 150
K.P. @kuddlepup.bsky.social · 11/09/2026You're looking forward to seeing a lot of friends, but you have to get through the next few days of work before your flight. Then, you get a text message. A plane crashed into a building in the city you were going to fly to. Then you get another text. Another plane crashed into a building in NYC. 140
