Give your oldest pet a hug for me ok? Thanks.

Nice, it's public too lmao

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

lmao, should've known. Funny how Makaio is obsessed with calling me a hypocrite and yet after his videos people do attack me in my DMs even though he says

Reason why I have doubts:

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

If this is true and there's evidence of action, it's about fucking time.

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Imo, seeing how the hack also taunts the user with a large amount of ancient coins, Rare should accommodate a little bit just for the inconvenience of having to report the evidence. #SeaOfThieves

So, does anyone have info on the whole "Ghost Banning" in SoT? Any public statements or whatnot? I see friends talk about it and people talking around it in SoT Discord Tavern chat, but no official statements. Adding more corporate dust under your rug much?

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

One of the videos finally got me. The tribute animation was good. Though Peter Cullen's quote I've heard before resurfaced and it hits hard now. "Be strong enough to be gentle." I still struggle, though I'll try to be what he wanted us to be. Rest easy, and blessings to your family.

What is it with devs (esp triple a game devs) testing things last minute? Are you hoping that something falls so updates get delayed?

000

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I'm very grateful for the amount of fixes in this update. However, I don't think we needed a toast notification for when the ship is repaired. In fact, there's so many toast notifications even just for selling stuff that it's overwhelming. Even continues sometimes after diving again. #SeaOfThieves

Also I'm getting sick of the whole mentality of making every app feature something you have to opt out of instead of starting it as an opt in feature.

000

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I find it funny that Rare doesn't use their SoT twitch channel for anything other than Christmas random drops. Which you'll probably never get if you're working, playing their game, or asleep. Or just football/soccer 😆 I don't mind but that channel more dead than the game itself lol

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Good improvements. Though with all these "experiments", I genuinely wonder why you even have insiders anymore. It's public and yet these experiments don't get to test builds. So instead of trying to promote insiders or set more reasons to use it, retail is forced into testing.

I stg the movie is two days away. COULD YOU PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP SHOWING SPIDERMAN MOVIE ADS I know I'm shouting to the void but man I'm annoyed 😭

120

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I can hear the people being upset about this lol. This is due to the teaming players who just sit in the middle to TDM holding servers instead of launching a custom server. Y'all played yourself 😂

100

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

The irony of some HG Players is super funny. Some see that getting free levels means they didn't earn it and also believe that levels don't mean skill. So if levels don't mean skill, why not take the offer of selling the loot? At least you'll have extra gold idk

Hey @xbox.com, could you separate all of these into individual things to disable? I genuinely don't need to disable all the same stuff at once. Just one or the other is fine. #xbox #microsoft #privacy

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Playing SoT for as long as I have, I've seen, tested, and experienced a grand amount of bugs and features. I feel crazy sometimes knowing way too much 😅

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

The one update we see in insiders and it's a crap bone caller change that sweats are glazing 🤣 One skeleton on an enemy sloop? Yeah good luck trying to keep that one alive longer than 1 second.

LMAO Rare hosted a party with a fire DJ and forgot the drinks so they sent everyone home early 🤣

Ik leaving quick re-que in for LSS was a choice, but honestly if you disabled it again just for this week, people wouldn't mind. Seems like bringing it back caused more issues than solutions.

"We're monitoring the channel heavily" - The Mods #SeaOfThieves

100

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

How? There's little to no obvious moderation and contacting mods either vaguely mentions how they'll take care of the situation or not at all. Pretty sure the only moderation is done by a bot warning about scams.

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

W for the first patch. We still need to patch out loading cannons while shooting/healing, but this is a good start. L for the second though. I mean, I get it. Though if you plan to get high streaks and the game crashes you, then it'll feel like you got flung out of zone like before. #SeaOfThieves

STOP ADDING RINGS THAT ARE "GLOVES" I have two other ring sets on that can't be visable on a half glove with chains. So why are we still releasing gloves with rings that cover other rings??? THAT'S NOT A GLOVE. #SeaOfThieves #rant

Actually, one more would be really good and very important. Game Settings Preset Codes. That would help out immensely so only one person has to create the preset, and then others could just copy from it if the code is offered. #SeaOfThieves #CustomSeas

000

Kubutai @kubutai.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Kinda sucks that free cam in custom seas doesn't let you emote solo. Or maybe there's a way. Idk I haven't found it yet

There's going to be so many sweat TDMs XD. I mean this is great. Though I won't be in many of those XD. Infinite ammo with blowpipe would be HILARIOUS though!

I'm fine by the way. I'm just in a dark place. I'm not doing anything drastic. Though if you're going to go too far, please reach out to the proper resources. I don't have the link for this but if you can search it or someone drop a resource link in the comments that'd help.

To be in an underpaying job, forcing myself to be single forever, and to be told that I can't play the one game I enjoyed playing due to someone else's actions is not something that helps my mental state. During this month of all months. This stuff makes me think the darkest.

I hate the internet. At one point it's just the usual drama. Then it's hell in the next. So close to being over having a text based social media ffs

So, did SoT ever decide to drop FOMO Season Acts at a certain time or am I just delusional?
