The team found that, although antipsychotic drugs were associated with greater harm than antidepressants and anticonvulsants in certain subgroups of people with dementia, they also found that some medications used instead of antipsychotics were also associated with potential harm. (2/3)

The authors note that clinical benefits are modest, treatment is resource intensive, & though the drug is approved in Canada, coverage may differ depending on location. They recommend that healthcare providers use shared decision-making with patients & caregivers when considering Lecanemab. (2/3)
