This all day! My lifestyle aligns with what they say, I run, swim, bike, and lift. I eat fairly well. And yet, I am on an autoimmune journey anyway. They would tell me it is my fault... even though it is possible avoiding viruses may have prevented autoimmune issues from triggering...

So much of my life is experiencing other cities through food. So much of my life is sharing meals with friends. It is hitting me hard how much more difficult this is becoming.

Currently on a journey to discover whether I am collecting autoimmune diseases. A strong contender? Celiac. Have cut gluten for about a month and seen a lot of improvement. Not eating gluten? Easy, not a picky eater, I love food. Avoiding cross contamination? Devastatingly difficult.

Yes! Finding friends among folks I attended school with vs friends I found through hobbies (as an adult) are very different! And there are whole years of my life where it turns out the friends I made were not my long term people, and that's okay! Nothing bad happened!

I am so sorry. In my experience, public servants are dedicated to the mission of improving the lives of everyone. Such an important part of society.
