StuGo! is a very weird and enjoyable show, just the second episode alone is giving me big laughs with the insanity of this mutant manatee babysitter. I have no pull at didney+, but watch the show. i don’t know if more is being made but we should enjoy what is here while we got it.

I’ve been seeing #SaveStuGo floating around! Thank you very much for caring about the show! We haven’t been cancelled yet- all eyes are gonna be on StuGo’s Disney+ performance. So (please) tune in on July 30th! 😅 We’ll have more content soon, leading up to the drop!

bsky.app/profile/anim... Its a really fun concept and I support it- just wish anything new by new people was also being supported and celebrated

Katie Gee @ktganimation.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Yup exactly- and then these same creators are trying to recreate the magic of before with half the budget and half the time and double the exec notes. Just doesn’t work

I pray for 1000 kiff seasons genuinely LOL if drew wasnt on idk what we’d do rn!!

Its BS dude- I went from directing and actually feeling an upward motion in my career to then just nothing- the whiplash is quite real

Katie Gee @ktganimation.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

For real! Its hard to pivot without going back to some kind of training which a lot of us cant afford rn

Katie Gee @ktganimation.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

For real Ive finally accepted that I dont think its just ever gonna be the same 😭😭

150

Katie Gee @ktganimation.bsky.social · 11/06/2025

Listen im gonna be real with you its not good rn but we have to hope things get better and I do truly think they will - in like some months? A year? But I have been recommending students to not move out immediately to LA tbh. You should still be proud for finishing your degree thats awesome!

I try to keep it separate but i think most ppl know I stream and its been my full time thing rn. Im 🤏 close to making it fully fund me for the most part- just feels weird to kind of “give up” animation but have to remember its the industry not me

Yeah I tried storyboarder and there were just not that many tools for it to be a suitable replacement 😩 the 70 a month for storyboard pro is diabolical it pisses me off

I think its very cool that a show my husband is on (kiff) and a show I work on (stugo) are both playing on saturday mornings on disney. Sometimes I get so lost in the current bs I don’t take time to reflect on how cool that is. Saturday morning cartoons!!
