Thank you, Kansas! Today, Kansans protected the state’s fair and independent Supreme Court. We did it tougher. We joined with over 80 organizations and thousands of volunteers committed to protecting abortion rights, education funding, and impartiality in our courts.

The language for this amendment is vague and gives Topeka politicians too much power to decide the rules. That's how Kris Kobach & Ty Masterson want it. If it passes, they get to set the rules. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. That's why we MUST VOTE NO on August 4th.

Forum examines proposed Kansas amendment
An educational program at the Great Bend Senior Center last week brought together two speakers to examine a proposed Kansas constitutional amendment that would eliminate the state’s current merit-based judicial selection system and replace it with elections for Kansas Supreme Court justices. The amendment, which appeared on a primary election ballot, drew scrutiny from presenters who walked through both the arguments for and against the change.
