Artwwork of a custom mech for my Lancer pilot. It is an SSC Death's Head, made for long range shooting. The frame looks biomechanical, it is somewhat centaur-like, with a humanoid torso poking out of the rear instead of the front. The plating doesn't cover all of it, showing exposed wiring and inner pieces. It's holding a long rifle that has a makeshift quality to it, with pieces crudely bolted together. It seems to be fueled through the inner core of the mech, through tube coming out of its rear, somewhat like a tail.
On the shoulder of the humanoid part is standing its pilot (and designer), my Lancer Letho.

Shippuden also suffers badly from power scaling where Kishimoto struggles to introduce bigger and bigger threats, to the point where it all kind of unravels every rules he introduced... I guess my brain just likes when you can understand how a power works within the world.

An array of visuals I did for our first Lancer campaign! Roll20 party portraits, initiative tracker, squad logo, status icons and character tokens. The old-fashioned terminal screens are for forum-based written rp we do in-between sessions. :) We're having fun discovering the system so far!

Lancer Squad portraits; from left to right:
- Haywire, a sharply dressed older gentleman. He looks confident.
- Stray, a rough and tumble pilot with piercings and a wild wolf cut. His top is open, revealing scrap metal fashioned into necklaces. He's smiling, a cigarette in his mouth.
- Ashenblood, a pilot wearing a dark brown, tight fitting suit with detailing mimicking muscle fiber, with dark red accents and bronze bits. On their should is a pauldron with engraved organic-looking symbols.
- Crusader, a man at the end of his 30s wearing a flight suit. He's removing his helmet, and has grease from motor oil on his face. Around his neck is a keffiyeh, protecting his skin from chafing with the suit.

On the left side, icons to keep track of the various status effect/conditions inflicte during mech combat.
Ont he right side, 8 hexagonal tokens featuring the characters from the party and their mechs.

Ternimal-like screens with flavour text, used as thumbnail for forum threads we use for written roleplay between sessions.

Thanks!! I've reread it recently and found an even deeper appreciation for it than I had before... So it's making its way into my art This Animage exhibition Nausicaä outfit was on the moodboard so you have a keen eye (expected nothing less tbh) I especially rly love the patterning on the jacket. 🙂‍↕️

i've updated the guide today to include a very neat tool @zerojt.bsky.social was cool enough to create and share! simply pick your colours/options and it generates a .css file to replace the default one. perfect for users that would rather not have to go edit the variables themselves into the code!

looked a little into it and it seems this would be the way to do it. but if i understood correctly that feature is only available with a business plan (assuming that's a paid one, not sure you have that!) Sorry i can't help more, hopefully someone else would be able to chime in :(

Found at Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Footer. Code added here is inserted just before the closing </body> tag on every page. This is the correct location for scripts that do not need to run until the page content has loaded, live chat widgets, social media embeds, conversion tracking pixels, and performance-monitoring scripts.

it might be that squarespace cannot find FontAwesome's webfonts files - I set up the template to host them yourself. you could try, if you can, adding this line in the head section of the html file (i will put it in the alt text so you can copy it easily.)

what it does: the template is set up in such a way that FontAwesome looks for the library file in the src folder. this replacement line uses a library file that is hosted online (however it is an older version of FontAwesome, so it might be missing some icons!)

my partner gifted me a 15th century groschen from the Kuttenberg area for my birthday yesterday! 🌞 i was really surprised at how thin it is, so different from any coin i've ever seen.

Kimimaro was a turning point for me... Tell me this isn't the coolest thing you've ever seen?! Also that era hits the perfect spot between the 'scrappiness' of early Naruto and the cleanliness of Shippuden when it comes to Kishimoto's art - for my personal taste. Love it so much 😩

On the left is Celt'Ehus, who is basically a DM PC. He has been the party's guide on the island we are on, and his cousin Malin'Ehus on the right here is our main antagonist. His armor was one of the trickiest parts about this piece but i'm happy with how it turned out! #art

The party: Miyu, Tojiro, Kadavan and Ryōga (played by yours truly). particularly enjoyed figuring out a visual language for the spirit magic Tojiro uses. i used the same stylization for Danzō, Ryōga's ancestor whose spirit is trapped in the vambrace worn by Ryōga. #art
