There’s an immediate sense of… something. Yugi’s not sure if it’s relief or satisfaction or what, but feeling Atem’s hand over his comforts him some. He wonders if Atem feels it too. Wordlessly, Yugi gently flips his hand over, so their palms are pressed together and their fingers interlock.

Yugi looks at him, and there’s a dry smile on Atem’s lips. One of the ex-pharaoh’s hands reaches up to run through his own hair, and he laughs a sort of sad, strangled laugh that leaves Yugi confused.

It’s strange, Yugi mentally repeats, having no soul connection with Atem any longer. He can’t experience the other’s emotions, can’t hear the other’s thoughts, can’t feel his presence in his mind, against his soul. And its scary.

They’re roughly the same height - something Yugi hadn’t realized had occured until Atem had stood him up after he’d beaten the Pharaoh - and so from behind, they’re nearly indistinguishable.

They’re both quiet, neither saying a word as the boat slowly moved across the water, back to the dock they’d departed from before the Ceremonial Duel, when there had only been the expectation of Atem leaving to the afterlife, or staying trapped in the Millennium Puzzle.

Its strange, Yugi decides, being a single individual again. He’s shared a body for so long, shared /himself/ for so long, that being his own person felt… foreign, lonely even. But he’d cope, he tells himself as he stares up into the darkening Egyptian sky, he’d manage it in his own way.

Any leftovers the blond would have after eating his dishes initially were saved for a future snack or meal, until they eventually became /Kirishima's/ snack or meal, which somehow led to Bakugo cooking enough for the entire idiot squad that'd stupidly chosen to follow him.

(He never outright admitted he was helping Sato bake though, hiding under the guise of criticizing him. Sato knew better though, was always more than welcome to have Bakugo join him, and would even occasionally snark back at him when snarked to.)

For Katsuki, aside from therapy sessions with Hound Dog - which he'd been mandated to after Kamino, but kept going to long after what was their last mandatory session - he'd cook or help Sato bake.

She'd paint his nails as well, would use face masks and also put lil cucumbers on their eyes. Mina even had a lil foot jacuzzi thing that felt nice. They'd talk about school and family and hero stuff and it was all real nice, but understandably never fully erased all his stress.

For Eijirou, it was 'spa days' with Mina, and occasionally Asui or Momo. Mina would help him touch up the red in his hair, would evenly file down his nails and do something to "moisturize his cuticles" (Whatever that meant. He'd tried understanding before, but it kinda all went over his head.).
