Yet another Valais & Karrai comic, this one a concise(?) summary of their entire relationship... or something. Valais is my half-elf paladin, Karrai is @moertti.com's character (thanks for letting me do all this nonsense with him) Pages 1-10/13

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Pages 11-13/13 Funniest part is I wrote a 300k-word two-part novel of these two and then summarized it all in thirteen comic pages. I guess that's my brand of insanity

Some Valais-related stuff including fancy ball outfits (with Lynne, his bestie). The first two are based on @moertti.com's sketches and Karrai is, as usual, his character

Sorry for no art in forever, but I guess I could show you that I designed and made a step stool for my spouse. It's been cat-approved #woodwork

Just a heads-up in case someone goes to our website and wonders what's going on: our domain now redirects to our new home on Comicfury!

In regards of recent events with Hiveworks: we stand 100% behind the artists and are in process of going independent ourselves. We are proud and grateful of the work the Guild has done, and while we weren't affected as much (thankfully), they have been incredibly helpful and supportive to us too.

(We (No End) were never big enough to have any of this affect us too much, but there are lots of people who have been fucked over by this stuff in a way that is wholly unacceptable so please support them 🙏❤️)

The Hiveworks Artist Guild has released a public statement alleging years of labor abuses, financial mismanagement, and misconduct at Hiveworks at the hands of Xellette “Xel” Velamist and Isabelle “Isa” Melançon. Read their full statement at: cartoonist.coop/hiveworks-gu...

I also made these (Valais & Karrai related lmao) lily and raven pendants

And now for something completely different because why not (this is art, right?): an interior design project I made in school with 3D, including a couch I designed myself and which I'm going to be making for real for real

Did I draw anything but Valais and Karrai this year? No, I really didn't #artvsartist2025

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 27/12/2025

Oh yeah I put this drawing in the artvsartist thing and realized only now that I never actually posted it. Snow is Valais' huge elk steed! She has antlers because my world my rules and she's magic anyway. The things I draw for this man... Also hi hello all new followers!

I guess we'll just have the most bare-bones site you've ever seen lmao. Maybe I can find out how to slap a header image there at least And the main thing is that the comic finally has a website we can continue uploading pages to once this non-planned hiatus ends, whenever that is

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 23/11/2025

I started uploading No End to Comicfury so we can finally get rid of the hive site (comic stuff has been hard since... well) and I'm well into uploading chapter 5 when I realize that we have no layout for the site and I have no idea how to make one because all I know is html and css from 2002

Anyway this is me saying that yes I see all your posts but for some reason clicking the like button is hard? I guess at some point I've become a person who doesn't want to be perceived at all, not even as a notification that I liked your post. It's why I don't post anything these days, too...

000

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 13/11/2025

I very rarely click like on posts that I, you know, like, including friends' posts (I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with me) and then when I want to click like, I feel like it's going to be weird because I haven't liked their posts in a while and I really don't know why this is an issue lmao

I actually put some thought into this design lol, her colors are obviously Viesker's driver's (we don't have jockeys in Finland because we do harness races) and her outfit design is based on the national dress of Jyväskylä (Keski-Suomi) region because Viesker was born in Muurame

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

What if Finnish umamusume named Viesker?

Some random Valais (& Karrai, @moertti.com's character) stuff I've doodled, including modern day AU (Valais is a social worker who ends up dealing with a small-time criminal Karrai who's doing community service)

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

I've been playing a lot of R.E.P.O. with @moertti.com and @wooosome.bsky.social so I drew our semibots lol (I'm the pink one, Mort's teal and Woo's orange)

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 27/06/2025

I'm getting the ValaisKarrai story printed as an actual book, I've been working on it since January. Might as well post a draft of the cover. I'm no graphic designer lol so it is what it is, but maybe it's good enough for something that's literally just for me and a friend

050

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

This is why I don't do backgrounds

171

Kromi @kromi.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

Pages 29/31 and that brings this comic to an end. Thanks for reading! If you're left curious about these two, I have an entire novel-length story about them on AO3 archiveofourown.org/works/617106...

I've been drawing this 31-page-long Dungeons & Dragons Valais/Karrai comic since January, maybe I'll finally start posting it. I'll post more pages into this thread as I finish them Valais is my half-elf, Karrai is @moertti.com's tiefling rogue #art #comics
