I'm just finding out the Teatro Alla Scala's streaming service is now free. And they have at least a couple of ballets I haven't seen yet. I'll have to check into it more soon. #balletsky #dance #art

Los Angeles Ballet made their Hollywood Bowl debut this week. Kudos to them for not cancelling and performing in the heatwave anyway. I couldn't have! #balletsky #dance #art

Boston Ballet got an anonymous donation of $10 million. Curious to see what they do with it and which productions they might stage. #balletsky #dance #art

Feels good to finish the first draft of the latest pilot pitch deck. Awaiting feedback from the writers' group at our next meetup. #scriptsky #tvsky #screenwriting

Whipped up character descriptions for a new pilot in no time. Now I have to name everyone. That will take me several months and involve changing my mind 10-12 times per character before making the final choices. #scriptsky #screenwriter #tvwriter #tvcomedy #writing

Absolute beginners in ballet should not use YouTube follow along "classes" for safety reasons. Ballet is very specific, especially in muscle use. It's best practiced in person with a live instructor to avoid injury and bad technique. Dancing in a studio is never acting like an "overgrown child."

Ballet is still worth doing as a hobby, even if you "lack talent" to go pro. You can still perform and enjoy the art form recreationally. Keep doing it if you want to, keep letting your kids have fun. #ballet #balletsky

When I told the plumber I'm not a teacher and the ballet barre is for occasional extra (basic) practice and stretching he said "Oh, you do it as a hobby!" Like, he didn't even need to see me dancing to know I'm not a pro. I'm laughing, but damn...I don't even give off pro vibes! #ballet #balletsky

It was kinda painful opening my first pilot to make edits, updates and name changes while waiting for feedback on my second. I'm glad I did but it was definitely one of those "rip the band-aid off and just do it" moments. #scriptsky #screenwriting #tvwriting

What a time for my pointe shoes to begin to die. The brand factory will be closed for a month, orders need to go in now and mine may not go through. Might be dancing in dead shoes for the whole summer. #ballet #balletsky #pointe #pointeshoe #dance
