Global Fund Leadership Shortlist Unveiled Amid Donor Friction And Push For Reform - Health Policy Watch
The shortlist of five finalists to serve as the next Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria was disclosed by the organisation on Wednesday (30 September), launching the final phase of its leadership search. The incoming chief will assume office in early 2027, facing a massive funding shortfall and mounting geopolitical pressure to overhaul the global health architecture.

Never been a big fan of Vonder Leyen, but as official face of EU ( even if technically we didn't elect her), I can live with her, certainly when benchmarking against some of the others (Trump, Xi, Modi,...). It could be worse :)
