Riiight it’s like I’m walking into a car dealership 😅 I have hope because there are more “influencers” I follow on there than here. I just wish they’d stop pushing so many brands like Wendy’s. I don’t eat at Wendy’s. I’d be okay with Sephora lol Give me customized brands at least.

Lol you’re right on the brands. I keep blocking each one I see but Threads just bring on new ones. I guess that’s how they get money. Lovely world we are living in. The influencers I have seen are not very interesting but they have so many likes…!

I can’t seem to find my bearings because my wall is just sooo random. You’re right in that is has more influencers than I’m comfortable with but like, they’re not even the type of “influencers” I follow. It’s definitely a space to watch.

Yup, it sits on the European and African Plate tectonic plate boundary and bc it’s a convergent plate boundary, it will continue to be active. It’s so scary because Italy has over 59 million people living there.

Happening now: Mount Etna in Italy is erupting and raining ash. The name means “I burn” and it’s been active for 2.5+ million yrs. The land/plate Italy is on is being smashed by another piece of land/plate which causes these eruptions. Same reasons Mt. Vesuvius erupted and obliterated Pompeii.

That’s half the battle won once they’ve come to that realization. I guess one of the hesitation to begin changes is cost. It’s expensive to shift away from fossil fuels.
