Be careful about what you read in the trade papers. I remember WGA constantly hammering this point during the strike. Be conscious of what you post online and how it can be used for or against you. Build consensus by talking to your fellow members.

I’m reading Outrageous Conduct, which covers the Twilight Zone accident that led to the deaths of Vic Morrow and two children. It obviously goes in depth on the life of the director John Landis, but a side effect is that I’m getting forbidden gossip on Stephen Spielberg too.

Just found out I'm not being hired for the next season of the show I was on. If anyone hears of anything, please let me know.

If you’re working on a pitch packet that you haven’t pitched to a studio yet is it ok to post your illustrations online?

My brother in law's present! It's been a while since I've done these full color illustrations and I think I need to redo the boot shading. But honestly, for someone who hates Star Wars, I think I did an ok job!

Money is tight this year so instead of buying gifts I'm drawing! Here's the present for my 4 year old niece. She LOVED Wish!

My Nia DaCosta hot take is that Little Woods is an excellent movie, and it’s a huge bummer to see the MCU throw a talented director under the bus to save a dying franchise.

A few months ago I did a few #propdesigns based on @kristengish.bsky.social’s short Kelly & the Kung Fu Gators for a fun practice piece. Please check the animatic out if you haven’t already: youtu.be/9lXL7ri_fHk?...

Is anyone else kind of grossed out that video game companies ask for your 'gaming experience'? Not like, experience working in games, but literally asking how many hours you spend playing video games and what video games you play.

In an impossibly cool move, Joe Murray, creator of Rocko's Modern Life, has noticed his book about creating animation is out of print and massively over-priced on the second hand market. So he's put it on his site for free. joemurraystudio.com/books-by-joe...
