Thoughts on Threads (2026)? I have my gripes with some of the king-isms and I'm gonna have to process the finale when I'm less sleep deprived, but this was a damn good show and John's arc and chemistry with Hal was fucking phenomenal. Excellent TV

Hungrybox pogging out of his mind because his stupid larper ass doesn't know what sword kirby looks like and earnestly thought it was a smash bros reveal and that was link's hat. Also, his twitch viewer numbers are at 2767, and 67 is a funny number

Sonic Triple Trouble 16 bit It's such an impressive game, it really is hard to tell it wasn't made by actual SEGA staff with how accurate its level design is I wish Knuckles had a bit more gameplay tweaks to freshen him up like Sonic did but this easil stands alongside the strongest Sonic games

Achie Sonic Post Genesis-252-256 I didn't really get that into pregen until it was already nearing its end and at the very least everyone (but rotor's) redesigns are really solid here so i'm willing to hear this out for a bit. Dragging on an unleashed adaptation for 80 issues sounds so annoying tho

Sonic Universe-Pirate Plunder Panic There's a bit of a give and take here when compared to Treasure Team Tango. It's more focused and less chaotic, which makes it tighter but less fun. The increased focus on Blaze was I think a worth it tradeoff though, she shines here far better than in TTT

AND WITH THAT Archie Sonic-Pre Super Genesis Wave I started Flynn's run like, a decade ago, and didn't get very far cause I just couldn't get into it. Around issue 200 it really started to pick up, and by these last 20 issues it became something I can really see why people miss. Solid ass run

Sonic Universe-Chaotix Quest I think ever since the end of Iron Dominion the comic has been really enjoyable but this is the first Archie anything to like hit me really hard Such a shame how close the end is with how good characters like Beau and Tilly are, I'll miss them... Bow was also fun

Sonic Universe-Secret Freedom Fighters I feel like this is 100% one of those concepts that would have had me in a chokehold if I was an active reader of the comics when I was a teen. They're a neat squad even if most of them are undercharacterized, shame this timeline is almost at its finale

Silver, Larry Lynx, Shard the Metal Sonic, King Elias, and the twins Lyco and Leeta, each members of the Secret Freedom Fighters, charging into battle with their signature team race suits on

Elias is saying "Secret Freedom Fighters! We'll stop Naugus, save the city, or die trying!!"

Sonic Universe-Scrambled It's like impressive how it's like all of my least favorite things in Sonic. GUNposting. "Isn't Vader cool" ass posting over Eggman. Orbot & Cubot. Hetslop It's a testament to the writing this arc wasn't fucking unbearable

Orbot, Eggman, and Cubot observing hetslop.

Orbot's reaction to hetslop is "Ew."

Eggman's reaction to hetslop is "This is what all the fuss is about?"

Cubot's reaction is "Arr--! That not be natural!"

Sonic Universe- Scourge: Lock-down It's like fucked up that Scourge is like, decent, right? Like his debut issues as Scourge was so bad I was ready to write him off entirely but he's kind of fun now There was TMNT and Angry Birds in here Crossworlds is canon to Archie

Sonic Universe-Silver Saga Kind of cool arc, the darker tone and higher stakes was neat. Very hype moments and aura but sometimes you just gotta let Silver rip a city apart and explode people with his mind

Sonic Universe-30 Years Later Lara-Su's a fine enough char and this arc was alright enough for how messy the 20 years later series is, I dn't really understand the need to try and salvage that story though

Sonic Universe-Treasure Team Tango I remember reading this when I was younger cause my friends said it'd be peak Archie for me and now having read like 78 issues I can confirm it still is the peak All of Team Rose is written so well here and it's the kind of fun stories I think suits the cast best

Archie Sonic-212-218 Kind of nothingburger stretch, little two part arcs clearly meant more to set up later stuff than deliver in the moment. Bunnie and her arc is really good though, so at least the day ended on a high note

Sonic Universe-Tails Adventure It's fun to actually see Antoine and Bunnie do stuff instead of mostly sit on the side of things. I like Tails' arc here, but it's a bad adaptation of the game because Tails goes out of his way to not commit war crimes

Archie Sonic-Iron Dominion saga It was like alright. Iron Queen was an okay villain and Sonic and Monkey Khan's dynamic wasn't bad. It was so much plot there wasn't a ton of room for character work though, but that's kind of Archie in a nutshell

Sonic Rivals 2-Tails and Metal Sonic's story It's a definite improvement on the first one, it still has so many clunky design decisions. The Rivals series overall is for sure the weakest of the modern 2D games, but it's not the worst thing. Definition of middle of the road

Sonic Universe-Knuckles: The Return Finitevus is ok. I like his contrast to Knuckles and his powers are neat. He's a bit generic evil schemer moded for my tastes and doesn't have the layers to chew on like Starline but I think he's solid. Shame he apparently doesn't appear again

Archie Sonic 180-196 (up to the end of the Scourge arc) 90% of Krissies stop before they find Sonknux content I was like chronically bored through the early issues of Ian's run and didn't like what I was seeing at all but it's dramatically upped in quality, it's a solid read now

I kind of forgot to say but Sonic IDW-Chao Races and Test Run arcs (reread) I remembered the A to B of it but my memories of the stretch between zombot and imposter syndrome is kind of hazy so im going back and rereading also really shows how much setup and character development was seeded here
