2/3 fall squash matches are the greatest sin of the AWA, way beyond even the worst of the Team Challenge Series and yet no one ever really brings it up when talking about reasons the AWA was supposed to be so bad.

I cycle around because I have a lot to work on & staying on one thing too long makes me lose interest but every time I go back to AWA I think "I really like the Major Leagues of Professional Wrestling." Outside of 2/3 fall squash matches from the studio era, it never wastes my time.

This ended up being pretty good for two big dudes who were both very green. I wonder if maybe we didn't miss out on charismatic babyface Curtis Hughes. There was a lot of physical charisma that he had here that he didn't have as Mr Hughes.

Currently watching some World Organization Wrestling from 1987. I love the way this show looks, they just took an old convenience store and painted it up to look like a "studio" for their wrestling show but I think it looks great.

I just watched the 1984.09.22 Championship Wrestling from Georgia episode I have in the Watch This folder and Bob Roop, Ted DiBiase, Tully Blanchad, Porkchop Cash, Ivan Koloff & Rip Rogers/Ted Oates all had different titles. That was a lot of belts for 30 minutes of 1984 rasslin.
